Chapter 10: Memories

Ji hye's POV

" oh " I said with a sour face

" but you do look familiar " kris said

" finally! " I mumbled

" where did you see me? " I asked

" in school " kris said

" in school? " suho asked

" yes, don't she look like ji hye? Kai! I got it right this time. " kris says with a smirk

" well she some how does but i don't think that my cousin is Ji hye. " D.O said

" let's stop this conversation now. " I quickly said

" okay " they mumbled

" Amanda, it's getting late. We have to go. " I said

" but, I wanna stay. " Amanda says as she held onto xiumin's neck tighter

" I promise we'll meet soon. " I said

" Oppa, is your number the same? " I asked

" yes. " do replied

" I'll call you soon. " I said as I took Amanda from xiumin's hand

" bye " I said

" bye " Amanda said as she waved to EXO

We started to walk back home and things were quiet between us until Amanda broke the silence.

" unnie? " Amanda asked unsure

" yes? " I asked

" is that ji hye you? " Amanda asked

" Why do you ask? "

" Well, fake disguise? And as soon as they mentioned about Ji hye you turned a little.. you know. "

" why are that smart? " I asked as I ruffled her hair

" I was born like that " Amanda replied with a sarcastic tone

" yes, I am Ji hye " I replied honestly

" why don't you want them to know, unnie? I mean like you asked them and they had replied. Then why did you stop the conversation? I don't get it" Amanda asked

" I had asked because i wanted to know if they know me cause i thought they don't know me but cold blood just ran through me when kris guess it right. They aren't that good to me in school for me to accept them like this. But.. um.. you know? I can't simply explain it in words. " I answered unsure

" About the devil and angel fighting in your brains? " Amanda asked

" yes, it is. " I chuckled

We walked home.

We open the door to find that mom had gone out. Amanda found a sticky note on the table.

' honey, I had an urgent call, went out with dad, make your dinner and we will be back before 12pm, don't worry. '

" Amanda, take a bath and change into these clothes. " I told her pointing at the clothes that we had bought

" yes, unnie " Amanda replied

I walked up the stairs to get my clothes. The trees shook really hard.

' it's weird. It's not windy. ' I thought

Without hesitation I opened the window and a hand grabbed my neck, I was in shock.

I tried to scream but it seemed like a i had lost my voice, I just held onto the hand as tight as i could when a sharp scream came from the owner of the hand

" unnie, what happened? "Amanda came running with her towel wrapped tightly around her body.

'In that moment, I felt like time had stopped. Tears fell from my eyes. I was shaking and I was scared. I just wanted to run away but the feeling is in my heart, not anywhere else. I wanted to hide from the world. My hand grip was tight that my veins was popping out and blood was falling. I stood still in my place as tears continuously fell, all those memories flashed back. Why? '

I fainted. The last words I heard was Amanda calling me.

Amanda's POV

While I was still bathing, I heard a sudden scream. I quickly turn off the tap and wrapped the towel around me.

I ran to unnie's bed room

" unnie, what happened? " I asked

She didn't answer me but was standing still with a person's hand in her own. Tears was falling out of her eyes, I ran over to remove the hand and, i looked over at the window and when i looked back, Unnie fainted.
