Chapter 16

Third Person's POV

Home, thats what he felt upon entering the estate he felt home it was so different back in the fortress not a single day he felt home in there

It was truly refreshing being back in the headquarters tho he still needs to talk to the pillars and he doubts they won't attack him once they see him

He's been beside oyakata-sama since he arrived, he never left his side amane even suggested he should take some rest since it was a long journey he just did but he refused to leave his side which Amane understand and decided to let Y/n stay beside Oyakata-sama

Standing up he walked towards the door and watched as the twins plays with a Temari ball

He smiled before looking up the sky, billions of stars were shining brightly, he inhaled the cold air the scent of the wistera made his nose itch

He went back inside and sat in a corner, his eyes saw his own reflection on a mirror

From his hair to his feet, he just looked like him, but something caught his attention

He crawled closer and saw his right eye, it was now [E/c] and no longer Crimson his left eye remained the same

"It's.. Different" he muttered as his fingers traced the bottom of his right eye

It was the same eye color of the woman he saw back in the fortress before encountering his father

"Am I.. Turning human?" he asked again

Then suddenly an idea popped inside his mind, he knows it was suicidal but it was the only idea he could think of

He needs the insect pillar's help

Gulping nervously, he stood in front of the butterfly estate with a sweaty palm

Shinobu have been one of the kind pillar that accepted him during his stays in the headquarters, and that's when he also met the thrio

"Ara~ I knew I sensed a demon but I never expected it to be you Y/n-kun~" his eyes widened as he turned around and saw her

Beside her was her tsugoku kanao who's ready to unravel her blade

"What brings you here?" she asked

Y/n was confused as to why she's calm unlike her tsugoku who's itching to kill him right now, Shinobu noticed his expression and smiled

"Misturi-san told me everything, Everyone knows you're here..." she trailed

Sighing she unsheathed her blade and jumped behind Y/n, a sound of blades colliding echoed

Y/n turned around and saw Shinobu and Giyuu with both blades colliding

"Step aside Shinobu" he said

"Ara~ tomioka-san, aren't you the one who brought a demon here in the first place? Why acting so strange right now?" Shinobu asked

Giyuu jumped back both the face remained calm yet the aura their giving are scary and intimidating

"Nezuko does not hurt humans nor eat them like this demon right here" He said pointing the end of the blade towards Y/n

Y/n never expected this to happened, he just want Shinobu to help him turning into a human but he never expect to see Giyuu

"I would like you to leave the butterfly estate, tomioka-san" Shinobu said sternly

Giyuu said nothing and left, y/n lowered his head

"I'm sorry, I kept bringing trouble." he muttered, he waited for a blade to stab him injecting poison yet a hand ruffled his hair he looked up and saw Shinobu smiling at him, it wasn't the fake one

It was a genuine smile...

Smiling back Y/n was led inside the butterfly estate, it was nearing midnight and it was only the three who's still awake

"where have you been?" Y/n asked

Shinobu stopped for a while and opened a door, the door leads to a room that has a single bed and a closet

"We just came back from a mission." she answered

Kanao sits on the chair in front of a desk that has several books on top of it, Shinobu gestured for y/n to sit down as she grabbed something from the closet

She approached Y/n and hand him the clothes she pulled out the closet

"You're clothes are dirty, this is the only clothes I could give you I'm sure they wouldn't mind you wearing it, it's a uniform of a former demon slayer." she said staring at the uniform with sadness in her eyes

Y/n sweat drops at the thought of wearing a uniform of a demon slayer when he's clearly not a demon slayer

Shinobu leads him to a bathroom to change leaving Kanao alone in the room.

After a few minutes he manages to change into the uniform and it was a perfect fit for him tho it's quite uncomfortable since he's used in wearing haori and Yukata

Stepping out the bathroom Shinobu couldn't help but giggled at sight

"You look so different, Y/n-kun~" she said

Y/n chuckled and fix the haori he's wearing, Shinobu noticed the haori and her smile widens

"You kept it?" She asked, y/n nodded and continued straightening it

"It was a gift from Oyakata-sama, I need to make sure it's always in good condition." he smiled

Both of them went back towards the room, Kanao had fallen asleep on the desk

Y/n slowly approached her and lifted her up bridal style, she was light as a paper, he placed her down the bed Shinobu watched them with awe

She patted y/n's head who smiled in return

"Shinobu-San the real reason I'm here is that I need your help." he said stopping Shinobu from patting his head

"Why do you need my help?" She asked

Y/n stepped back and bowed at Shinobu who was caught off guard at his sudden behaviour

"Help me turn into a human"

I just finished reading the final chapter and Boi I shed tears, demon slayer will probably be the best manga I've read so far :<

Anyways, I've been planning on writing a Haikyu X Male reader story, any thoughts?
