"GYAAAAAAAAAAH! IT'S SO COLD! WHY IS THE WATER SO COLD!? IT'S NOT EVEN WINTER! WHAT'S WITH THE WATER IN THIS MOUNTAIN!?" Zenitsu screamed once he was thrown in the river
Tanjiro didn't threw Y/n and instead he sprinkle some cold water on his face and it did wakes him up
Y/n groaned as he felt water being sprinkled on his face, his eyes fluttered open and his vision was a bit blurry at first but once it regains it's sight his heterochromatic eyes met with tanjiro's
"you could've just woken me up by calling me than sprinkling water on my face, Tanjiro." he said before standing up
"I tried calling you, but you only pushed me away." Tanjiro said
"L-l-l-land, it's so cold.. I-I need to something to warm me up" Zenitsu said before successfully pulling himself out of the river and was now curling in the land
"OH shit! It's too late now... I'm freezing already.." Zenitsu said as he began shaking
Y/n noticed him and went towards Zenitsu, Pulling the male into his arms, Zenitsu felt the warmth from Y/n' s body and immediately wrapped his arms around the male
Meanwhile Tanjiro stood beside them and watched the scene, He was confused as to why he felt a pang of jealousy when Y/n wrapped his arms around Zenitsu
'Maybe because I've treated Y/n like a brother... It's probably the same feeling when Zenitsu tries to hug Nezuko and I'm just being protective.. Yeah that's probably it!'
Tanjiro managed to convinced himself as he smiled at the two
After calming zenitsu they're now ready to go under the waterfall, Zenitsu never let go's of Y/n.
Under the waterfall Y/n felt his muscle relaxed as the water hits his body, it was relaxing to him
Meanwhile.. Tanjiro and Zenitsu were struggling at first but then slowly gets used to the water's impact
Soon gyomei came and watched as the three of them have finally gotten used to the waterfall
"Good work. Now proceed to e the final session."

The Boulder.. Oh how much Y/n despise it
Even if he uses his demon strength he only moved it an inch
"This is stupid.." he slumped down the ground and he glanced at Tanjiro who's trying to push the Boulder

Night came and all of them are currently eating the fishes they cached from the river and cooked it
While Y/n sat on top of the Boulder, he watches the night sky shone upon him
The moon was Cresent and billions of stars surrounded it
"Did I made the right decision, Mother?" He asked as he stared up at the moon
"Why are we born in such a cruel world?" He asked once again but this time tears prickled his eyes
He held back his sobs trying not to make the others to hear him crying and seeing him in such a pathetic state
He raised up his arm reaching out to the moon, a shooting star appeared his lips curled upwards and closed his palm as if he's holding the moon
"One day, We'll see each other and we'll be free from this cursed Reality, Mother." He slowly lowered his arm and fell asleep on top of the Boulder unbeknownst that someone heard him and walked away with tears in their eyes

"GRRR! MOVE GODDAMNIT!" Y/n yelled as he pushed the Boulder with all his strength
'WHY CAN'T I MOVE THIS BOULDER!? AND WHY DO I EVEN NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PILLAR TRAINING!? AS IF I'LL GET A DAMN MARK!'
Y/n's limbs felt like it's about to break every time he pushed the Boulder
Tanjiro was beside him and was also trying to push the Boulder unaware of a person who's approaching him
"hey Tanjiro, did that mark on your forehead grew bigger?" Genya said startling Tanjiro
Y/n was too focused on trying to push the Boulder until something caught his attention, he whipped his head towards the two
"What was that?" He asked, Genya glanced at him and repeat what he just said
"Repetitive actions?" genya repeated
"Say no more." Y/n said as he thinks of something that can open up his senses, His mother came into his mind the picture of her smiling with along with his father beside her, he focused on her face and used it as motivation to gain the strength he needs in order to push the Boulder
"Mother give me strength." He muttered as he once again pushed the Boulder while repeating the same words over and over again and same goes for Tanjiro
They failed in their first try but that didn't stopped and as they kept on going until they both moved the Boulder
"T-t-they moved it! They really moved it!" Zenitsu screamed while Inosuke stared at the two
"Shit, I lost."
