He's Perfect, She's Not

Chapter 2: She changed

Waah, my head really hurts. What happened? I slowly opened my eyes and like a lightning, the light stroke my eye.

"Aya, are you awake? Thank goodness!" My dad said. I just saw him beside me sighing in relief.

"What happened, dad?" I asked him

"You fainted. Your house was burned.

"Oh, I remember now... Yesterday was a really tiring day, dad" I said

"Aya, it's not yesterday. You slept for about a month. The doctor said it was because of stress. You're really tired that day but, not only physically tired. The doctor said you're mentally tired too." He explained.

"That day is really the worst day I've ever had. Dad, can I get out of here now? I want to be alone. I'll rent a house now. Even if it's small, it's okay. I just want to be alone."

"Okay dear, actually, I found a new apartment for you. You'll be charged out today. Don't worry." He said. He walked out of the room. I think he'll arrange the papers so I can get out of here. He don't like me? Natsume don't like me? Why?

"Aya!!"

"Hi, Miki and Chii." I greeted them

"I'm relieved that you're fine now. " Miki said

"Thanks."

"You made me worry so much!" Exclaimed Chii

"Well, I'm sorry. But, I'm alright now."

"You should! By the way, tomorrow, you're going to school right?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"Why?"

"There's going to be a model search. The three of us are going to join. No excuses. You should come with us. It's just a model search for our school magazine."

"Ah, sure, I'll join."

"I'm really glad you're fine now." Miki said and hugged me. I hugged her back and Chii joined us.

"Aya, you--- oh, hey girls! Aya, you can change your clothes now."

"Okay dad."

"So, Aya, we're going to go now. Bye. Take care."

"Yeah, bye!"

-Next Day-

"Okay, that's good. Next model please. Ayashi Ikezawa."

"Good luck Aya!" Miki whispered to me. The two of them are finished shooting a while ago.

"Okay, Ms. Ayashi, please take you're best pose now. You only have 5 shots okay? Let's start." He said. I posed 5 poses and finished it. I'm not in the mode so, I didn't smiled and my picture can be called fierce.

"Next, Osaika Fideshi"

After my shooting, I saw Miki and Chii talking to someone and that someone is...

"NATSUME SEICHI?"

"Oh, good timing! She's here. You asked why I don't want to read her letter? Cause she's ugly. Can't you see, many people here in this room is laughing while she is modelling. How could I like a person that is ugly?" He said. While hearing his words, I feel like I'm a mirror that is cracking.

"Natsume! You don't have to be rude to her! Miki and I is the only one who wants to know your reason."

"I said it to her because, I don't want her messing with my life. Oh, I forgot. I hate dumb girls. So, you had what you want. Can you give back my book now?" He asked then Miki gave it to him.

"What an annoying friendship."

-2 years later-
Third person's PoV

Aya changed, her life changed after that. She don't want anyone see her face. Her friends, Miki and Chii, has gone to America. Both of them we're gone and Aya really hated them of what happened that day. She don't comb her hair, she won't wash her face, she don't want to go to school so she has a home teacher, and she doesn't want to have friends. She like being in the dark, talking to the manikins that shows the internal organs of a person. She have so many horror cd's. She's living in a dark house and not stepping out of the house. When she have to study, there's a big black curtain that seperates the teacher and her. Her dad knew about it but he don't know what to do to her, until 1 year ago, a friend offered him a job abroad and pays a good price so he accepted it and left Aya alone. She felt more alone but, because of her manikins, she felt that she stil have a family... In the dark. One day, Aya's Auntie called her and told her that she will be living in her apartment and his father knew and agreed about it. Aya agreed too because her Aunt Waseda is very nice like her mother. Her mother and aunt Waseda are siblings. Aya agreed to it but her aunt have only one rule :

"Don't leave the house until I said so"

The only thing that Aya thinks when she was about to sleep is that... SHE CHANGED.
