"Ang aga-aga pero mukhang hindi na maipinta 'yang mukha mo." Dea said when she entered my room. I look at her and furrowed my eyebrows. Bakit parang wala siyang pakialam sa nangyayare? She is my manager, kargo n'ya ako!
"Have you seen the article about me?" I asked. Mukha kasing wala siyang kaalam-alam sa mga nangyayari at kung hindi ko pa itatanong ay mukhang hindi niya malalaman.
"What article?" She said cluelessly. Napapikit ako nang mariin. Sabi na nga ba at wala siyang idea doon. I shook my head before facing her.
"The one that's about me!" HIndi ko mapigilang hindi ipadyak ang paa ko sa inis. Manager ko ba talaga s'ya?
She looks at me with disbelief. "Really? Ang dami kayang article na about sa'yo. How am I supposed to know what article are you talking about?" Tinaasaan niya ako ng kilay habang nakapamewang. Ngumuso ako at umiwas ng tingin.
"About me and... the guy from Escapes." I bow my head because of my shyness. Baka asarin ako ni Dea ng wala sa oras.
"Oh, that one?" She paused for a moment. "Yes, I've seen it." She chuckled. Agad naman akong lumingon sa kaniya.
"Talaga?" I asked for reassurance. Hindi maitago sa boses ko ang galak, nagbabaka sakali na may sasabihin s'yang magandang balita about doon.
"And?" I asked again. She looked at me with confusion.
"And what?" Wala sa sarili n'yang tanong. Napanganga ako, ibang klase mukhang hindi n'ya talaga gets ang point ko.
"You know what, let's get straight to the point. Ano bang gusto mong sabihin?" She said in defeat bago umupo sa kama ko at nag crossed arms.
I scratched my head before answering her. "There's an article about me and... Axel. Uhm.. can you take it down?" I bit my lower lip and the anticipation lingers in my heart waiting for her to agree with what I said.
"Why? Have you read it? Is there any problem?" She titled her head and never avoid her gaze at me.
"I.. don't know, I haven't read it yet," I avoid my gaze. Alam niyang hindi ako pala basa ng article. Pero alam 'kong kung ano man ang nakasulat doon ay hindi maganda ang magiging epekto sa career 'ko. Ayoko pa naman nang pinagchi-chismisan ako!
"I've read it and I don't see any problem with the article. Besides, the fans found it cute though, you have nothing to worry about." She reassures me.
Kumunot lalo ang noo ko. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is there is no reason for me to take down the article." She stood up and leave my room. Agad naman akong sumunod sa kaniya sa labas at hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa sinabi niya.
"What? But why?" I can't help but throw tantrums. "What if hindi rin pala nagustuhan ni Axel 'yung article, you need to take it down!" Dea stopped walking and face me while her arms are on her waist.
"Do you think he doesn't know the consequences of his actions? Alam niyang pwede s'yang maging laman ng mga articles dahil sa ginawa n'ya but he still insisted. I guess, he is enjoying the publicity. Then, you must too." Bagsak balikat akong napa-upo sa sofa. Ang pag-asa ko kanina ay biglang naglaho na parang bula.
