Oh how she hated him. She hated him with a passion from the start of her second year when he commented on her eyes and hair. Telling her-and the whole school-that he thought that her hair was too blonde and her eyes too bright. That she didn't belong in Slytherin, no matter what blood she came from.
He ignored the fact that she was from the Vaillancourt Family, the oldest pureblood family, and told the whole school that she wasn't worthy of his attention.
And for the first time in 10 years, she cried. Of course she didn't let him see her cry, but she did. Up in her dorm with Silencing charms on her curtains. She cried.
He thought she was fascinating. Her french features -high cheekbones, sharp jaw, plump lips, slim face, and small nose- made her beautiful. He was never good with words. But, of course, that wasn't an excuse for what he did. And now, she hates him. With a burning passion.
He was jealous in a way. She had a perfect life-filled with riches, both parents, everyone doting on her, people making way for her the moment she came. He had nothing. He had a mum, several -dead, he might add- stepfathers and one father. His mother was a supposed murderer. And, sure, he had riches, house elves, and a reputation. But it was never like her. Her's was there from the moment she was born in the richer parts of France.
