The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said. I know you'll never pick up this letter. I know you'll probably never scan your eyes across the paper and read what I've written, but I'm writing it anyways. Why? I honestly don't know.
Maybe it's because I need to just simply vent. I've held these emotions in for too long. I hope you're happy up there. You're free, Neji. Just like you've always wanted; like a bird finally fluttering from its cage of imprisonment.
I'll never forgive you for leaving me, but I understand why you did it, despite how unhappy it makes me feel. It just feels...empty with you.
