Tenten stepped into the light, blinking at the sudden brightness. Ahead of her, a figure stood, as if they were waiting for her. She walked closer and froze, recognizing who it was.
"Tenten," He whispered, his voice causing her heart to pound.
"Neji," She breathed, frozen as she stared at the figure in front of her. He came forward and wrapped his arms around her, his embrace warm and inviting. A tear slipped down her cheek. "I missed you..."
"I missed you too," He murmured into her ear.
"Baka. Never leave me again," Tenten demanded, her voice cracking as she smiled through her tears.
"I promise I won't," Neji replied. "I love you, Tenten."
"I love you too, Neji."
