In denial

Rantaros POV- after me and shuichi finished our drinks we parted ways

I felt bad because I was quiet almost the whole time we were there

But I just can't help this feeling- am I really in love with him? No I can't love him- were best friends! It would ruin everything! But the again he's super cute and my heart beats faster when we're together NO BAD RANTARO I mentally screamed at myself while shaking my head.

I got a few weird looks from some people across the street and then I calmed down. I walked home still in denial.

Sure I loved shuichi and thought he was cute and wanted to kis- NO I CANT LIKE HIM.
"GAH" I screamed as I walked into my house.

Before I could turn around there was a tap on my shoulder

"Uh.. rantaro?" A voice said from behind me

"Oh hi- SHUICHI" I gasped while turning around

" ah! I'm sorry to scare you! You forgot your phone, so I thought I would drive over and bring it to you!" Shuichi said nervously

"OH YEAH UH THANKS" I said taking my phone from him

Shuichis POV- as we were leaving the coffee shop rantaro left his phone there- I don't think he heard me calling his name so why not bring it to him. I got in my car and began driving over to his place. Before I got out of my car I watched him to see what he was doing. He looked very stressed out and in denial about something- I won't bring it up though he might not wanna talk about it.
I got out of my car and lightly tapped rantaro on the shoulder, he didnt realize it was me at first but when he did he jumped. After I returned his phone I left and went home.

His reaction- when he saw me,,, could it be he was thinking about me? I thought to myself
