Chapter 6: the idea

It was as if a baseball bat had hit a baseball. the idea was the bat, and her head was the ball.

"Penny for your thoughts, Butterfly?" her grandma asked. Apparently, Dakota had been making her idea face. It's a little hard to explain how it worked, but I'll try. Whenever Dakota got an idea, her eyes crossed, one of her eyes closed in a wink, and she half-smiled half-frowned. It was impossible to do intentionally.

"Well..." Dakota began to explain "what if we put on a play? We could sell berry treats for refreshments, and people would have to pay for tickets."

"I love it!" exclaimed her grandpa

"Sure is creative, Butterfly." complimented her grandma

"It just might work...." her mom mussed, deep in thought

"Let's give it a shoot!" her dad declared

And so,  the Bunny's got to work on the play that would save the bakery!
