A Love...Circle?-A KOTLC Tophfee story

Running-Keefe's POV

I stared at Tam and Sophie. 

"What did you tell her?"

I demanded. I hoped she didn't know what had happened only a few hours ago. 

You see, I like....people. Of both genders. 

I didn't always know this.

It wasn't until I met Tam that it smacked me in the head, and now, I tried to get him to hate me so that I wouldn't ever have to face the truth. 

But.... 

Today.

I did.

I told him. 

And he rejected me. Because he did  hate me.

That's when Sophie crashed my rejection party, and I'd never felt so grateful for someone rescuing me. 

But now, I was regretting feeling grateful. 

Now, it was just worry. 

Tam stammered. 

"I---"

"I didn't tell Sophie anything. I---"

He sighed. 

"I muttered under my breath that I hated you. Maybe. That's why she freaked out."

"Come on Tam. We're going."

I grabbed his hand, and dragged him out Havenfield. 

"Don't you think you pulling me out of Sophie's house will make her more suspicious?"

Tam snatched his hand from my grasp, rubbing his wrist. 

I sighed, running my hand through my hair. 

He glared at me. 

I looked up, and saw the hate in his eyes.

He pushed me, again, the way he did at Alluveterre.

Only this time, we didn't crash through Linh's water gateway. 

I fell onto the ground, on my butt. 

"Keefe! Tam!"

Sophie came running towards us.

"Please, stop fighting!"

She stumbled and fell to her knees. 

The moment she fell, there was a flash of light, and the Neverseen stepped out of the path. 

"Good job Keefe. You did just as I asked."

It was Fintan, and I stood up, wiping my hands on my pants. 

Plastering my trademark smirk on my face, I refused to see the look on their faces when they realized that I had betrayed them. 

"Piece of cake."

I stepped towards the Neverseen, ignoring the little voice in my head, begging me to snap out of it. 

And then, it was gone. 

And so was I.

A/N: MUUUUUWWWAHAHAHHAHAHH!!!

 No idea when  this story takes place, but sometime after Lodestar. Assume Keefe betrayed them again, for better reasons. Think Team Grady, for multiple reasons, which is foreshadowing for this story's plot line. And yes, this is a Tophfee story. Have fun speculating! :D

Ah, look. An update. Terribly sorry about the wait. I've been a little preoccupied with my other story, A New Flame. If you want, you can check it out. I update significantly more than I do with this story. :D
