Mordred's breathing hitched, she swallowed any doubt she had in herself then quickly analyzed her situation, she slowly stuck her right hand out which held Clarent she then placed her left hand on the ground
Mordred: Mystical Flare...
Mordred's hand glowed and soon after the ground tore apart revealing flames that erupted engulfing Artoria, Mordred quickly got up and charged gripping Clarent tightly
Within milliseconds Mordred appeared in front of Artoria with Clarent raised she swung her sword as it connected with Rhongomyniad
As Artoria was thrown back she pointed her lance towards Mordred activating her noble phantasm the dark winds quickly made their way over to her
Y/n then appeared in front of Mordred Excalibur in his hands, he stuck it out in front of him as the winds hit the sword within it's sheath protecting both him and Mordred
Rias: What's going on? How is his sword doing that?
Xenovia: Is that a new feature that comes with his new Excalibur?
Y/n: Wrong what you see is Avalon or what I'm going to call Prototype Avalon

Artoria charged at Mordred the two looking even as they clashed before Artoria managed to kick her back
Artoria: Thrust and feast! Thirteen fangs!

Irina: This sword transfers the sun's body. The heat of these flames shall cleanse the impure.
Irina throws her sword upwards as it transforms into a large orange orb with heat comparable to the sun

A beam shoots down towards Irina within that beam was her sword, she grabbed hold of the hilt then pointed her sword towards Mordred
Akeno: Is she planning on attacking Mordred?!
Irina: Sword of Resurrected Victory... Excalibur Galatine!
A large beam shot towards Mordred who watched it head towards her, Mordred's scarfs then moved on their own blocking the wave as she started to glow once Irina finished her attack Mordred was glowing brightly
Mordred: I see, so this Scale Mail can absorb heat and make me considerably more powerful
Her helmet then disappeared to reveal her smirking, Clarent then releases a red beam and the first thing Y/n noticed was how much power it now had
