Unknown POV
"They are heading there, master." I say.
He smiles cruelly. "Excellent, my student, and they have no idea?"
"None." I reply. "They don't even know your place."
"They are not aware of your involvement?"
"None."
He ponders something for a moment before he drinks something out of a glass.
"You will have to recruit more soldiers." My master reminds me.
"Why?" I question. "They won't win."
"Our last two accomplices were defeated."
"They were just warmups, master. The true battle begins."
"I suppose that is true. Make sure our dark ally does not go rogue."
"Yes, sir."
"And the eight demigods have no idea of the truth?"
"No." I sneer. "They are all as ignorant as the Olympians."
"Do not criticize them, son. Do not stoop to their level."
I cry out. "But master, they are!"
My master's hands fidget with the ornaments on his dark throne, red light illuminating his face.
"No matter." My master continues. "The war will go as planned. Your mother shall become my queen and we shall rule this universe! The Earth shall be obliterated."
"Gaea is our ally. She will not be happy."
"There are other planets in this universe. She will have to adapt."
I nod. No one dares to contradict my master.
"The girl. She is important." My master says.
"I will not be bringing her." I yell.
He shakes his fist violently and I am thrust into the air by an invisible force.
"YOU DARE GO AGAINST MY WISHES?"
I stammer gasping for air. "N-no, m'lord."
My master sighs and drops me on the ground.
"You know she is the key to my sworn enemy's success." He points out.
I shake my head. "But he has been asleep for millennia!"
"So have I."
I stand there in silence for a moment. The lights flicker and for a moment I see my master's empty eyes.
"Prepare the soldiers." Master orders me. "It is time to bring an end to the Olympians."
I bow to the ground and walk out. Time to resume my duties as prince and commander of the Doomsday Army. You better watch out, Perseus Jackson. I am closer than you think.
