Y/N's POV
I wake up at 7 in the morning to get ready for another day at school. I do my daily routine and prepared my lunch. Just as I finished making my lunch, I heard a knock on the door. It must be Shido.
Y/N: Just a sec!
I walk to the door and open it to see Rinne in her school uniform.
Y/N: Oh, 'morning Rinne.
Rinne: Good morning Y/N!
I walk outside and lock my house door.
Y/N: So you ready to head to school?
Rinne: Sure.
We started walking. While we were walking, I decided to invite her to a festival.
Y/N: Hey Rinne, do you want to go to a festival with me?
Rinne: Sure I would love to!
Y/N: Great! Meet at 6?
Rinne: Sounds good!
Y/N: Alright, meet you there!
Well that was my first time technically 'asking a girl out'.
*Timeskip to lunch* Shido's POV
I met up with Reine and Kotori at an empty staff room.
Kotori: So Shido, do you know who Rinne Sonogami is?
Shido: The one from my class? What about her?
Kotori: She's a spirit.
Kotori says plainly.
My eyes widen with shock from what I just heard.
Shido: A spirit?
Kotori nods and faces her monitor.
Kotori: Come look at this.
I walk over to Kotori and look at the monitor.
Kotori: She's not just any spirit, she's ranked as a SS-class. She could wipe out the entirety of Japan if she so chooses to or if she loses control and go inverse. We call her "Ruler".
Shido: So I have to make her fall for me?
Kotori: No you don't have to. We'll leave that to Y/N.
Shido: Are you sure he's good for this? He could get hurt in the process.
Kotori: Trust me, he'll be fine.
Shido: I hope so.
Kotori: If he somehow gets hurt, we will intervene, but for now just lay back and relax. Also you should head back to class. People will start to wonder where you are.
Shido: Oh right. See ya sis!
Kotori: See ya Onii-chan. Buy oyakodon for dinner!
Shido: Gotcha!
I wave and close the staff door behind me.
So a SS-Class spirit huh? Interesting. I wonder what her angel is.
*Timeskip* Y/N's POV
I waited for Rinne at the entrance to the festival. I wonder what Rinne looks like in a yukata.
Without any time to imagine what she is wearing, she appeared in the distance wearing a pink yukata that matches her hair color with a flower design on it and a camellia on the left side of her hair.
Rinne notices me standing at the entrance and waves. She makes her way to where I'm standing.
Y/N: Hey Rinne, you look cute in that yukata.
Rinne: *blushes* Thanks.
Y/N: You're welcome, well shall we head inside?
Rinne: Sure. Let's go!
We start walking inside. The first thing that I thought about was food since I was kind of hungry at that time.
Y/N: Do you want anything at the taiyaki stand? I'm gonna buy a taiyaki since I'm starving.
Rinne: Ehh just one taiyaki.
Y/N: Okay. You could try out some of the games while I wait in line.
Rinne: Alright. Make it quick!
Y/N: I'll try to!
Rinne walks off as she disappears into the crowds. How am I gonna find her in this mess?
Cashier: Next!
I snap out of my thoughts and walk up.
Cashier: What can I do for you okyaku-san?
Y/N: Can I get 2 taiyakis please?
Cashier: Sure thing! That will be 300 yen.
I got out my wallet gave the cashier the money.
Cashier: Here you go okyaku-san, have a nice day!
Y/N: You too.
I walk with the taiyakis in hand and went to go look for Rinne.
*POV Change* Rinne's POV
I walked away from a goldfish scooping game stand after winning a goldfish. Now I got to find Y/N. After getting caught up in a large crowd, I bump into someone.
Rinne: Ah sorr- oh hey Y/N I was looking for you.
Y/N: Sorry for the wait. Here's your taiyaki.
He hands me the biscuit and I take it. He looks at the goldfish I caught.
Y/N: Oh wow did you catch that?
Rinne: Sure did. The game was pretty easy.
I take a bite out of my taiyaki.
Rinne: mm oishii! (tasty)
Y/N: I know right? Anyways let's go find some other things to do before we call it a day.
Rinne: Alright.
*POV Change* Y/N's POV
We played a lot of games in the festival and watched a show there. I had a lot of fun and so did Rinne. We were now beginning to exit the festival.
Y/N: Whew that was fun. Wanna hang out again sometime?
Rinne: Yep. I enjoyed coming here.
Y/N: Same. It was my first time going out to a festival too.
Rinne: Really?
Y/N: Yup.
*POV Change* Shido's POV
Kotori: Mental state looking good. He should be able to seal her in no time.
Shido: That's good.
Kotori: I told you he could do it.
Shido: Yeah, my bad.
Kotori: Well it's getting late. Time to head back home onii-chan.
Shido: *small smile appears on my face* got it.
Me and Kotori get teleported into our home.
