Mafia-Style Sonic Story!

They stayed together that night. They found an abandoned cafe and decided to talk there. Something was off though.

The lights didn't go out at the regular time.

"Has the traitor... Left?" Shadow asked, confused.

"Doubt it." Blaze responded.

"Okay... Want some coffee? Apparently the coffee maker here still works." Shadow asked, bored out of his mind.

"I prefer tea if that's okay." Blaze answered.

"Okay." Shadow responded as he walked off into the cafe's kitchen.

The lights went out.

"Shadow? SHADOW!" Blaze shouted. She ran to the cafe counter and rang the bell there. She ran into the kitchen and looked for Shadow.

The lights turned back on.

Shadow was still alive and he looked at Blaze, confused.

"You're still here? I'm still here?" Blaze asked.

"I guess that was a normal lights out for once." Shadow answered.

Blaze walked back out and sat at a cafe table. She sighed of relief. Soon enough, the tea was done.

"Here you go." Shadow handed Blaze the tea and she stood up.

"Thank you." Blaze responded.

Shadow just nodded as she took a sip of her tea.

"Um... Shadow?" Blaze said.

Shadow smirked at her. "Yes?"

"Wait..." Blaze whispered.

"Why, what is it?" Shadow would not stop smirking.

"No... I was too naive..." Blaze realized.

"Sayonara, Blaze The Cat. Protector of the Sol Emeralds." Shadow said.

"The world... Is doomed..." Blaze collapsed.

"Yes." Shadow nodded, grinning and successful.

"Sayonara... Shadow The Hedgehog." Those were Blaze's final words.

The traitor has won.
