"Keep your eyes closed!" you heard Roger shriek as you tried to peak.

"Don't tell her what to do Roger," you heard Freddie snarl bitterly.

You practically heard Roger roll his eyes as you giggled. Both of them seemed to be head over heels for you, as Brian and John had told you, but you were quite oblivious to it. You did adore it though, the attention.

Freddie constantly followed you around like a puppy, hugging and cuddling you, trying his best to make you smile or laugh.

Roger would always go out of his way to impress you, or show off in front of others.

Right now, Roger had a "surprise" for you, but you weren't allowed to look.

Freddie was trailing behind closely. He could be so kind and gentle with you, but he  changed when someone, specifically Roger, tried to show off in front of you. He was quite protective.

You heard Freddie sigh with annoyance once you stopped walking.

"Okay... Open!" Roger whispered, letting go of your hands which he was guiding you by.

Opening your eyes slowly, you stepped back cautiously, your back connecting with Freddie's chest, not knowing what to expect.

His hands lightly grazed your arm, however you just realized Roger had a bunch of flowers, all different colours, yet matching.

"R-Roger- Where- What's this?!" you stuttered.

"For you!" he smiled.

"W-Why?-" you said, walking over to him to give him a hug. Unexpectedly, he swung you around with a laugh.

"Eh, I just felt like it," he said with a calm, cool tone, clearly trying to get one up on Freddie

"Eh, I just felt like it," he said with a calm, cool tone, clearly trying to get one up on Freddie.

You briefly turned to look at Freddie who had a scowl on his face, shooting daggers at Rog, but he also looked sad.
You had a soft spot for Freddie, you always did. Seeing him sad made your heart ache.

"I- Thank you Rog," you said sincerely, hugging him again. He hummed and squeezed you back tightly, picking a flower and tucking it into your hair, making you blush.

"She hardly wants flowers Roger!" Freddie growled, stepping forward and hugging you from behind, wanting your attention.

"Don't be so rude, Freddie!" you snapped at him, he often act like a child. He slinked back and looked down, his eyebrows knotted together, sulking.

"They're beautiful Rog, thank you so much," you placed your hand on his arm. He leaned forward and kissed your cheek, taking his time. This seemed to be the final straw for Freddie.

"I-I-I have something to show Y/N!" Freddie declared. Roger then looked annoyed as Freddie grabbed your wrist, practically dragging you out with him.

Roger didn't hesitate to race up after both of you. Freddie then shot Roger another look as him pulled you closer to him, reaching his hand down and locking your fingers.

"What is it Freddie?" you said curiously, trying to catch up with his long, swift strides.

"Uh-Uhm- a surprise!" Freddie tried to muster up something to say to you.

"O-Okay," you said. Before you knew it, Roger held onto your other hand frantically. You could feel the tremor of tension between the two men on either side of you.

Freddie walked you into one of the recording rooms as he frantically looked around with a stressed expression.

He slipped a pair of headphones on you, walking past Roger as if he was invisible. He paced into the studio, putting his on.

"I- Uhm.. I wrote this song for you Y/N.." he said nervously into to microphone as he sat down by the piano. His words shocked you. You couldn't help but smile, he was so sweet.

You gave Roger a weary look. He had the most pissed expression you have ever seen on him. He very well knew that Freddie could come up with anything and it would be amazing.

"Oh, take me, take me, take me, to the dreamer's ball"

His voice cooed melodically.

"I'll be right on time,
and I'll dress so fine,
you're gonna love me, when you see me,
I won't have to wo-rry"

He sang. His beautiful voice sang, his expression was genuine, as if he meant the words he was singing.

"Take me, hold me,
remember what you told me,
you'd meet me, at the dreamer's ball"

He stopped quietly. "I-It's not finished," he blurted quickly as you just stared in awe. The melody was so beautiful.

You turned to Roger, who was storming out of the room already, leaving you both.

Slipping off the headphones, you pushed through the door into the recording room, stopping slowly in front of Freddie.

He was shy, and his face showed worry.

You threw your arms around his neck. "Freddie that was so beautiful," you whispered in his ear, kissing his cheek. He sighed in relief, relaxing into your embrace.

"Y/N... I really like you...?" he said nervously once you both pulled away.

You were taken aback by his words. Maybe Brian and John were actually right, and you were just completely oblivious after all.

"B-But Roger does too. I don't want you to have to choose-" he said, back tracking after realizing he might've put stress on you.

"Freddie, I like you too," you whispered. His face lit up as a wide smile spread across his face, his arms wrapped around your waist as he picked you up, hugging you tightly.

"Freddie!" you shrieked, laughing, uneasy as you wobbled.

"S-Sorry," he smiled with a quiet voice, putting you down.

He smiled at you vulnerably, holding your hands. "It's quite obvious how jealous you get, Freddie," you giggled.

"W-Well- Roger is cruel! He knows I like you!" he humphed.

"Well now it's me and you, is it?" you smiled, placing your hands on his face. His eyes softened as he snuggled into the warmth of your hands.

"If you want, darling. I mean- I want it- but only if you want it- I don't mind-" he started stuttering.

"Oh shush!" you giggled, pulling him in for another hug, his head resting on your chest.
