You sighed to yourself. It was your 24th birthday, which you decided to spend with your Mum. It was your first birthday without your brother and your dad. They had both been in a terrible accident three months ago... and it still really hurt you.

"Where are we going Mum?" you said quietly. You weren't feeling like yourself today, you didn't even want to go out.

"I told you already," she said. She was young, and both of your losses didn't cause her humour to disappear, she was still positive. You were so lucky to have her.

"Yes but the exit for that was two signs ago," you humphed, folding your arms.

"Oh shush!" she sighed with a smile, turning up the radio. 'I Want To Break Free' blasted at full volume. Yes - your favourite band was Queen, and you were quite obsessed and in love with the lead singer, Freddie Mercury.

Mum always got annoyed when you continuously played the same music on the records or albums, but for your birthday she tried to make you happy in any way possible.

You sighed and sat back with a little less of a content expression and closed your eyes, awaiting whatever was to come.

"Hey! Y/N! Come on, lazy!" Mum was at your side of the car, nudging you while holding the door open.

You blinked tiredly and looked at the building. It was brown and dark. It looked like it was made out of brick, but there was no signs on it.

You slowly got out of the car, the haze of tiredness still controlling you.

Mum led you in, your arms linked. She was always like your best friend.

"Where are we?" you said quietly as she led you in through the doors. There was a reception desk and two corridors, one going straight and one going right.

"You'll see in a minute!" she squealed excitedly. What the fuck is going on-

She spoke to the receptionist lowly before receiving directions to go down one of the corridors. "Wait here!" she said before slipping in one of the doors. No windows, nothing.

You sighed, folding your arms, beginning to become anxious.

She came back out, not letting the door open fully. "Okay - go ahead!" she practically screamed with anticipation.

You slowly opened the door with fear but also excitement, edging it bit by bit.

And there they stood. John, Roger, Brian and Freddie. You froze. You completely froze.

John was smiling, Roger, giving a toothy smirk, Brian was smiling too, and Freddie was giving glances between you and the rest of them.

You shut the door and went back out to the hall, completely shaken. "Mum what the fuck?!" you screamed before bursting back in, your eyes tearing up. You threw your arms around John, as he was the closest.

He hugged back softly and you could feel him chuckling. Then you went to Brian who was a lot taller than you, he hugged you back tenderly but tightly.

You then went to Roger who kissed your cheek, you nearly went ballistic.

After slowly pulling away you looked at Freddie. He was looking at you with raised eyebrows and a smirk. You had inaudible tears rolling down your cheeks as you slowly walked over to Freddie. You stood right in front of him, terrified.

"Am I your least favourite? Do I not get a hug, Dear?" he quipped.

You let out a sound of emotion before wrapping your arms around his neck, completely breaking down.
