Louis slowly blinked his eyes open. His eyelids struggled against him, pushing to cover his eyes in darkness again. He was still on his back. Soreness popped up his spine as he moved for the first time since holding Legosi. Light had already begun creeping back towards the window, signifying that they had nearly slept the entire morning away. He was fine if Legosi wanted to waste it, he was going to be in charge for the day, but Louis was going to at least get some work done.

Pain scraped his tendons like needles as he tried to sit up. He looked over at Legosi, face first in his pillow, and trapping Louis' arm underneath him. Louis took a slow breath in, allowing his arm back into it's numbness. The appendage wouldn't respond to Louis' commands when he tried to slip it out from under Legosi. He huffed and used his other arm to push the lazy wolf off of him. He knew Legosi was heavy, but that combined with the fact that Louis could only push with one arm, solidified the fact that he was stuck. Even pushing against the canines face did nothing to disturb the beast.

He rolled back on his back, defeated and growing bored. Legosi's muffled breath came from his pillow. Louis looked over to him and gently blew into one of the ears sticking out of the fluff. It twitched. He blew a little harder, making the other twitch as well. The gray mass under them shifted, slowly rising like an eldritch horror. It's hair matted, and flattened over its drooping eyelids, most likely obscuring whatever vision it had. Mumbling incoherent noises, it gummed at it's tongue, teeth somewhere in the covers.

Taking advantage, Louis slipped his arm out and rolled away before the morning breath hit him. His arm flopped limply to his side. The tingly numbness came back to him as he pulled his laptop from his bag. It's metal casing was cold when he opened it up and brought it to life on the table. The veins in his arm lit up with fire and ice as he flexed his fingers. The pain slowly subsided as he continued.

The homework wasn't difficult but it certainly challenged him more than the classes at Cherryton. He was surprised at how little his physical presence was needed in the classroom. It helped when a certain wolf needed his attention. He looked at the time. It was nearing the middle of the day. Legosi was still asleep and if they were to meet with Gosha like Legosi wanted, someone was going to have to let him know. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts. He didn't have many, so it didn't take long to get to G.

The phone started ringing. And was picked up immediately.

"Hello?"  A almost sing song voice came in through Louis' phone.

"Hey, Gosha. It's Louis." He almost felt flustered.

"Louis! It's so good to here your voice! How are you?"

"I'm doing great! I'm keeping up with all of my classes." Louis tried to match Gosha's energy.

"A bright young kid like you will have no trouble keeping up with school."

Louis couldn't help but smile at the compliment. He almost brushed it off but Gosha continued.

"Say, how is Legosi doing? He doesn't tell me much."

As if on cue, Legosi let out a snorting snore in the background. Louis could almost hear the smile coming in through the phone.

"Sounds like you're taking good care of him." Gosha chuckled.

"I'm trying." Louis said. "Uh, we were wondering if you would be free today."

"Well I go to work in a little bit, I could meet you guys for a quick lunch before I leave."

"We can definitely make that!"

Gosha gave Louis the location and they hung up. Louis immediately turned out of his chair and went to the bed. He lightly rubbed Legosi's back.
