-- Hello dear Readers! Even if there are none of you yet. Sorry, I forgot to update for a few days! I will not be updating for two whole weeks, or more, because I will be vacationing in Erie, PA. Haha, "vacationing". I will be staying with my aunt, who has 3 kids me and my siblings ages. Well, mostly our age. There will not be much going out though, because of Coronavirus-19. COVID stinks. However, Romolo's Chocolate awaits! Mmm, meltaways.... Ok, enough daydreaming, and back to the story!--

Vera's POV

I looked out the window as the eeire, desolate landscape rolled by. It was kind of spooky, with no animals, or snow, or life. I shivered, and Jack wrapped the blanket around me tighter. I turned to look at him. "I am not cold, you dork!" I laughed.

He looked at me confused, "But you shivered? Why would you shiver if your not cold?"

"It is just so, so...." my voice trailed off,

"Unearthly?" He asked

"Yeah, that."

The gravel-covered gorge was dotted with strange rock formations carved by the ice & wind. Some were huge, bigger than me! Others, no bigger that a miniature Chihuahua. Our bus slowly weaved around these statues, careful so as not to bump into one. It was slow going, and according to the driver, our trip would take hours. The sun cruelly shined on our rough surroundings. It glinted off of the rocks and sand, making me squint my eyes.

--Sorry for the short chapte! Just wanted a bit of foreshadowing there. *Insert The Chris McClean evil chuckle* Hehehe! Will the bus crash? Will they stop to make camp? Find out after this, on Love In Ice!-Love, Viviann246--
