Jesse's P.O.V

All night I read through Lukas' book, not getting any wink of sleep out of the need I felt to remember who I was. After those four people came into our home, Ivor, Jack, Radar, and Lukas, they said they were my friends. Good friends that I have known for a long time but as soon as I saw their faces, it was like I had met them for the first time. I didn't know who they were, I didn't know t epic adventures we went on whether it was saving the world or stopping the bad guys.

It was frustrating seeing their disappointed faces when I told them I didn't recognize them. It was heartbreaking to see each of their smiles drop. If I had such good friends then why would I forget them? That first night when I met Liam and Ashely all I could tell them was my name, the rest of my mind like a blank slate that was wiped clean. So they took me in.

Lukas' book wasn't even helping me dig up my memories. How I apparently destroyed the Command Block in the Wither Storm, traveling to Sky City and stop it from getting taken over, onto the killer White Pumpkin and her twisted mansion, then Crown Mesa with a crazy computer, and finally the Old Builder Games where I freed everyone who was trapped. In every story that was told I was the hero, I fought until things were set right but I wasn't nice about it.

Lukas wrote down countless times where I would get embarrassed if someone gave me a compliment, how rude I was to my team because I was the leader, and that being right was sometimes more important then my friendships. It seemed like I would come though durning the most important times but I was rude every other time.

But through all the pages I noticed the little details that Lukas wrote about me. How beautiful I looked in the falling snow and the little moments we shared together. Thinking abut Lukas stirred up all of my emotions inside of me, like my heart just wanted to burst any second I gaze into those blue eyes he has. Did I feel this way about him before? Or did I just bottle up my feelings and push him away?

"Jesse!" Ashely called through the door, pounding on it before she skipped her way in, "Come on, everyone is in the kitchen."

"Okay."

She took a step closer, "What are you reading?"

I closed the book and rubbed the slightly worn cover, "Lukas' journal, he gave it to me to help me remember some things."

"Did he now?" She slid next to me with a sly smile.

I leaned away from her, weirded out by her sudden questioning, "What?"

"I see the way he looks at you."

My face immediately went red, "Ashely!"

"What? I do!" She tapped her chin in thought, "Maybe you liked him too before you lost your memory."

I looked down at the book again, "Yeah, maybe."

"Okay well, come on." She tugged at my arm to make me stand up, "Let's go."

"Alright, alright." I put the book away in my innovatory and followed Ashely out to the kitchen.

"And there I was, standing in front of the Woodland Mansion. Mobs were coming at me from every direction as well as countless vindicators. The evoker's were just about to release their spells but with my perfect internal compass I was able to find the rooms where the loot chests were full of weapons."

As soon as Ashely and I came into the kitchen Jack was walking around, telling one of his epic tales of adventure. He posed boldly as the words left his mouth to add more drama to the story. Ivor was rolling his eyes, looking slightly annoyed that Jack was even talking. Lukas was just shaking his head and smiling. Radar was sitting at the table and listening quietly, his eyes full of interest.
