Velez just heard a brething. Her's. She ran and ran but she had the feeling that wasn't enough. Bogota and Tokyo had done the same. Running. Then she looked at the middle of the table where Nairobi laid down full with blood. Velez had the feeling, everything she've done, wasn't enough.
"Hold on!" Tokyo screamed.
"Please!" Bogota screamed. Velez didn't said anything. She just pushed the table as fast as she can. They finally entered a room and Denver got all the things they needed. Rio, Tokyo and Velez cleaned Nairobi. Palermo walked into the room.
"Enough!" Nairobi said. "I would rather be in the prison as dying here! I don't wanna die!" she begged and Velez looked at her with tears in her eyes.
"Now operate" Palermo said without listening to Nairobi.
"No!" she begged and grabbed Velez jump suit. Nairobi looked her in the eyes. "Tokyo please! I wanna get out of here to the police!" she begged again and grabbed Tokyo. Tokyo don't know how to react.
"Let her sleep" Velez said to Helsinki.
"Now" Palermo added. Helsinki ignores him and looked at Palermo, still holding her hand.
"My life, my desicions" Nairobi said while crying. Tokyo nodded at her.
"Let her sleep" Velez said to Helsinki, raising her voice.
"She don't want to!" Tokyo said.
"Now operate!" Palermo screamed.
"I don't wanna fight! It's the damn life of my friend, she can decide!" Tokyo screamed and pointed her gun at Palermo. Velez took her gun too and pointed it at Tokyo.
"Do you want one of us dying?" Velez asks annoyed. Bogota pointed his gun at Velez and Palermo pointed his gun now at Bogota.
"Tokyo put your gun down" Denver said and pointed his gun at Tokyo. Helsinki raised his gun and pointed it at Denver.
"Stop it" Rio said and took out his gun. Stockholm just watched this.
"Are you crazy?!" Stockholm screamed.
"I'll say what to do, do you understand?" Palermo said annoyed. He lowered his gun, the others doing the same. "She is going to sleep now and we operate her like we talked about this before, okay?" Tokyo looked at Helsinki and nodded. Helsinki gives her an anesthetic and she falls asleep. Palermo wanted to say something but Tokyo interrupted him.
"You can't tell us anymore what to do, you understand?" Tokyo asks. Palermo laughs and Velez can't wait to kick her ass.
"And what do you want to do without me as a leader?" he asks laughing.
"The same just without you as a leader" she replied.
"Bullshit" Velez said.
"It's okay, Velez" Palermo said, still looking at Tokyo.
"Play doctor, it's okay. I will sit her" he said. Velez looked at him a last time and then starts to operate Nairobi. After 50 minutes they were done and Velez looked at the place Palermo sat before but the chair was empty. She just turned around and looked at the person besides her.
"Where is Palermo?" Velez asks. She didn't wait for an answer and just ran out of the room, searching for him. The bath. Velez looked in three bathrooms. Empty. But as she wanted to enter the forth bathroom Palermo came out with a black suit. "What are you doing there?" Palermo smiled.
"I'll leave" he replied and wanted to go but Velez grabbed his arm.
"I don't understand" she said.
"There is nothing to understand. I'll go" he said and smiled. He starts walking away. Velez looked at him, not believing him.
"You'll just go?" she asks and Palermo stopped. "You didn't answer my question before. Are you making the same mistake like Berlin?" Palermo turns around and looked at her with an sad expression.
"Perdon" is everything he said. Velez went silent.
"I don't believe you" she said with a cracked voice. Palermo sighs. he just turns around and left. Velez pointed her gun at him, tears filling her eyes. She can't shoot him. Tears running down her cheek. He just left.
