As the wedding day drew closer, Ash found himself struggling to come up with the perfect gift for Serena. He wanted it to be something special, something that would show her just how much he loved her. But no matter how hard he thought, he couldn't come up with anything that seemed good enough.

That's when he remembered his old friend Misty. He hadn't seen her in years, but he knew she was someone he could always turn to when he needed help. Maybe she could give him some advice on what to get for Serena.

He made his way to her home, hoping to have a friendly conversation. But as soon as Misty saw him, she slapped him hard across the face and punched him in the gut, making him double over in pain.

"What's wrong with you?!" Ash exclaimed, holding his stomach.

"What's wrong with me?!" Misty yelled back. "You're getting married in a few days and you haven't even bothered to come and visit me! You made a promise, Ash, and you never kept it!"

Ash was taken aback by her outburst. He had forgotten about the promise he made to visit her, but he never imagined it would cause this much anger and pain.

"I'm sorry, Misty. I didn't mean to hurt you," he said, trying to calm her down.

But Misty was already crying, her emotions pouring out. "You don't get it, do you?" she sobbed. "You're getting married to someone else, and I'm losing the love of my life. And now you come here, expecting me to be happy for you?"

Ash felt guilty for not realizing how much his marriage was affecting Misty. He wanted to tell her that he still cared for her, but he didn't know how to put it into words.

As he walked away from her home, he couldn't help but feel conflicted. He loved Serena, but he also cared deeply for Misty. He questioned his own emotions, wondering if he was making the right decision by marrying Serena.

Misty spent the rest of the day trying to distract herself from her thoughts. She went for a walk in the park, visited her Pokémon at the local gym, and even baked some cookies. But no matter what she did, she couldn't shake off the feeling of regret.

As night fell, Misty found herself sitting on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She wondered if she had made a mistake by pushing Ash away, but she knew that it was too late to change anything. She couldn't bear the thought of attending Ash's wedding to Serena, knowing that she would have to see the love of her life marry someone else.

As the wedding day approached, Ash couldn't help but feel conflicted about his decision to marry Serena. He had been thinking about Misty a lot lately, and her sudden appearance in his life had only added to his confusion.

One day, while walking through town, Ash ran into Gary. Gary noticed that Ash had a bandage on his cheek and asked him how he had gotten hurt.

Ash hesitated for a moment, not wanting to bring up the painful memory of his encounter with Misty. But Gary's concern seemed genuine, so Ash eventually opened up and told him everything.

As he talked, Ash felt a weight lifting off his shoulders. It was the first time he had spoken about his feelings for Misty out loud, and it felt liberating to finally be honest with someone.

But the moment was short-lived. As soon as Ash finished his story, he felt an overwhelming urge to escape. He didn't want to face Gary's judgment or his own doubts and insecurities. So he mumbled a quick excuse and ran away as fast as he could.

As he made his way back to his home, Ash's thoughts were in a whirlwind. He didn't know what to do about his feelings for Misty or whether he was making the right choice by marrying Serena. All he knew was that he needed to sort things out before it was too late.

Ash was feeling conflicted. His meeting with Gary had left him feeling uneasy. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he was making a mistake by marrying Serena. He had always cared for Misty, and seeing her again had brought back all those buried emotions.

Ash couldn't help but wonder if he was truly in love with Serena or if he was simply settling for someone who was convenient. He knew that he needed to talk to someone about his feelings, but he wasn't sure who to turn to.

As he walked home, Ash couldn't stop thinking about Misty. He wondered if she still had feelings for him, and if there was any chance for them to be together. But he knew that he had made his choice, and he couldn't back out now.

When he finally arrived home, Ash slumped down on his bed and tried to clear his mind, he sat on his bed and looked at the invitation to his wedding with Serena.. He knew he couldn't ignore his emotions any longer, but he also didn't want to hurt Serena or his friends. It was a difficult and confusing situation, and he didn't know what to do next. He wondered if he was ready to commit himself to someone for the rest of his life. He knew that he loved Serena, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was someone else out there who was meant to be with him.

The river where Misty had saved him from drowning suddenly came to mind, and Ash felt a pull towards it. He remembered the feeling of being surrounded by water, helpless and alone, and how Misty had been there to pull him to safety. It was a comforting memory, and Ash decided to go there to clear his head.

As he walked towards the river, Ash thought about his future and the choices he had made. He knew that he needed to make a decision soon, but he also knew that it wouldn't be easy. He just hoped that he could find some clarity before it was too late.
