Routine

[just some soft tom + skin care]

"Hmm, what's that for?" Tom mumbles against the back of your neck as he appears behind you. The two of you had arrived from a dinner with his family a little less than an hour ago and you were getting ready to go bed. Of course that meant you had to go over your skin care routine before finally giving in to sleep.

"Oh! It's a serum, prevents my skin from breaking out." You smile at him through the mirror, your fingers massaging your skin. Tom nods his head in understanding and breaks his hold on your waist to sit on the sink's counter.

"And what's that one for?" He smiles at you, arms crossing over his chest as he gives you a soft look.

"Moisturizer." You say as you hand him the bottle before massaging the gel on your face as you did with the other one.

"So that's why your skin is always so soft!" Tom's eyes light up, "It says here it smooths the skin. I know your secret now babe."

You throw your head back and laugh at his enthusiasm, your heart beating fast in your chest at the sight in front of you. His curls were slightly wet from his shower, his toned torso in display as he only wore navy sweatpants and the smile on his face sweet as always. "What's gotten into you? We've never done this before."

Tom shrugs almost shyly at you, "We've just been apart lately because of the filming and I- umm I wanted to have more of these little moments with you." His hands play with the moisturizer before one of them scratches the back of his neck when he looks up at you.

"Well, I love it and appreciate it a lot. It's really sweet." You move to stand in front of him and pull his face down for a kiss. "I love you."

"Love you too, now which cream goes next?" He pushes a stand of hair behind your ear as he reaches for your routine bag. "Eye cream?"

"That is surprisingly right." You nod appreciatively while you take the cream from him and proceed to put some in your ring finger to dab into your skin. "You can have one too you know."

"An eye cream?"

"No you dork," You chuckle as you move to the other eye, "A skin care routine. You know, to keep that face as pretty as it is right now." You cup one of his cheeks in your hand as he blushes.

"Aww babe you think I'm pretty?" Tom leans into his touch as he smirks. You roll your eyes and move to take your hand away, but he keeps it in place. "I'm not as pretty as you, though. You'll have to help me with this routine thing."

You smile and kiss him again, "That's fine by me, I'll take you shopping tomorrow then."

Tom smiles against your lips and brings you closer by the waist.
