Chapter 2: Meeting?

Izuku pov

"COME DOWN HERE BRAT!!!" -Inko

"Y-yes ma'am" i signed

"Why did i get a call from the school asking me to come over?!?" -Inko

"The principal and some of the staff wants to meet you... Im not sure why..." I signed while trying to stay calm

"Ughhh fine, go get ready for school, when we get there you better not say anything!!!" -Inko

"I w-wont ma'am" i signed again

"Remember to call me mom when were in front of them!" -Inko

I got ready for school and tried to hide my cuts and bruises. When we got there i immediately brought my mother to the principles office and knocked on the door.

"Come in" -Nezu

I open the door and step in with my mom close behind me.

"Ahh, Izuku we've been expecting you" -Nezu

I look around the room and see Aizawa, Present Mic, Midnight, and a few other staff/pro heroes. I sit down across from Nezu, mom sits beside me. I then notice detective Naomasa Tsukuachi.
'What is he doing here' i think to myself

"So why did i get a call to come to the school?" Inko says with an innocent look on her face, she is really good at acting...

"You got called here because every teacher here has noticed cuts and bruises on Izuku, all we want to do is ask some questions and you just have to answer truthfully" -Nezu

"Alright" -Inko

Nezu pov

I already now something is up, especially with how Izuku is acting right now, he looks scared, nervous, though he is doing a good job at hiding it. Inko? Well i can see right through that innocent act of hers.

"Aizawa, why don't you ask the first question?" -Nezu

Aizawa pov

"Sure, Izuku? Has your mom ever done something to you?" -Aizawa

I can tell he started to panic a bit but he took a deep breath, calming down immediately.

"No" he signed

I look at Naomasa, he gives me a face that says 'i'll tell you after' i nod.

"Ok, detective would you like to ask a few questions?" -Nezu

"Yes, i would actually, Inko, do you know how Izuku got the cuts and bruises?" -Naomasa

"No" -Inko

"Ok, Izuku, have you ever had suicidal thoughts?" -Naomasa

I looked at Izuku carefully analyzing his breath, facial expressions, and movement.

Izuku pov

Why would he ask that? I mean i have but how did he know?

"No" i quickly signed

I could feel eyes on me, but i didn't pay any attention towards it.

"Has your mom ever abused you?" -Naomasa

This is the part where i freak out...

"Why would i abuse my son?!?" Inko said trying to sound as innocent as possible

"Izuku? Has she? -Midnight

What do i say??? Do i tell the truth??? I take another deep breath and calmed down, i open my eyes and wait until my heart slows down a bit.

"No, she hasn't" i signed still calm

I could feel Nezu looking at me, trying to read me, Naomasa on the other hand is staring at my mother, if i can even call her that.

"Ok, that's all the questions i need, would anyone else like to ask something?" -Naomasa

"Izuku, where is your father?" -Present mic

I wasn't expecting this question.

"I don't know, he left when he found out i was quirkless" i signed

"Ok, you two may go now" -Nezu

We left and went to the car.

"Hold up! Your walking home!" -Inko

I didn't bother trying to talk back, so instead i nodded and started walking home.

I could tell someone was following me, i didn't care though, i never do. I got home and went inside, mom was passed out on the couch, i could feel someone standing outside the window watching me, i didn't pay attention to it and went upstairs to my room.
