It's been three days since they got here in this place of the void, after fifteen years that only felt like three exhausting days.

Xros stared at the night lights descend as the sun's rays are rising underneath the horizon from behind. Every morning he'd always go outside to the fence-like balcony, just in front of the door of their new-old-abandoned-cabin, in deep thoughts.

He couldn't sleep last night, nor the nights before. He thought it was normal but then he realized a sudden skepticism, a rare feeling he has been avoiding for a long time... the feeling of missing someone who had been a part of his life and the happiness and love he thought he'll never feel again.

One of them is his most trusted trainee and buddy, a skele-kid about 10 of age in white and black attire, similar to his outfit. He is his 'apprentice' at the Mystic Castle in taking care of the Violet Soul of Harmony, Perseverance.

Then, suddenly his thoughts are showing images of people he can't believe he would call 'his other friends'. The 5 other Guardians of harmony and their trainees, their friends at the 2nd kingdom, the first 3 Guardians of Balance,

And lastly, an image of two persons he cared most. One that looks exactly like him but with black hair and squinty eyes; and a girl with light pink eyelights, in a violet to pink sweater, pink skirt, violet leggings with short brown hair fading into light pink at the tips; the girl had sacrificed for when they were in danger in saving the 'Main Elements'. A smile was painted in his face but suddenly fades

"Trouble having sleep lately??" Xros snapped out of his trance as he heard a voice behind him. He turned around to see the cyan ghost, Nickole.

"Oh. It's just you" he sneered. The girl chuckled

"So... what is the 'edgelord' doing in this kind of hour?" The cyan ghost asked as she floated towards him.

Xros smirked. He's not the type of person who will open up to anyone. For him, it was hard to share off his thoughts because he believes that random people see it as stupid, but for some reason, he trusts this girl as if she understands.

Though, he didn't want to go to the main topic just yet, so he decided to play things around,

"Ohh nothing... just thinking" the boy rolled his eyes, the girl is now sitting at left side of the balcony's fence

"Is it about the other resources we need to find? I'm sure we could find them before we even continue the trip-"

"Not actually," Xros said. The girl lifted an eyebrow,

"Ok?, Is it about the mission-?"

"Nah... but sort of."

"Okay, I give up! Mind telling??" The girl surrendered her hands in the air

Xros stuck his fingers together as he playfully hummed, thinking whether to tell her or not, "No"

"Aww com'on C!" The girl playfully exclaimed nudging the boy's shoulders,

"Missing someone perhaps?" the girl tilted her head a bit as she asked again; at this point, the monochrome boy chuckles, then sits at the girl's right side.
