BELLAMY BLAKE

MURPHY SIGHED as he once again failed to throw his knife and lodge it into the tree just ten feet before us. Jasper's moaning continued to riddle the camp and Murphy got more frustrated.

"That damn kid, always messing with my head," He growled. "I can't concentrate."

I swung my arm back, getting ready to throw my axe. "The kid's not gonna last much longer. Gotta come up with a better excuse," I threw the axe and it buried itself into the mossy tree. "That's how it's done."

Atom came from the brush in front of us, informing me that Trina and Pascal were still MIA. Murphy took his chance to instigate Atom and I firmly reminded Murphy that Atom had received punishment.

"Look, Bellamy, people are scared. And that dying kid, he's not helping." Atom voiced his concern, but I had it handled. Jasper had started moaning again, but I did my best to ignore it and take care of the matter at hand.

"We'll keep an eye open for them when we go hunting later," Atom and a few others turned away, myself following their tracks. Murphy tried walking off after them, but I stopped him. "Not you. I need you to stay here, we can't leave this place unprotected."

Murphy didn't like the idea of staying, especially with Jasper's constant moaning. "Goggle boy better keep it shut."

I didn't say anything more to him, but walked off and began following Atom and the others.

Jasper's moaning had now turned to full on screams and Octavia ran out of my tent into the drop ship. I ran off after Octavia into the drop ship, ready to give Clarke a warning.

"She's trying to save his life." Finn told Octavia, but I was tired of the excuses.

"You can't," I told Clarke and Wells told me to back off, Y/N giving me a death glare. "The kid's a goner. If you can't see that, you're deluded."

I glanced over in Y/N's direction and saw anger flaming in her eyes. "Sorry if Jasper is an inconvenience to you, but this isn't the Ark," Y/N stood up from Jasper's side and took a step closer to me. "So kindly back the fuck off, Bellamy."

I could tell any progress I had made to repair our relationship was in danger of failing. But I had to step up as a leader.

"This isn't about hope, it's about guts. You don't have the guts to make the hard decisions. I do," I told Clarke, watching as she tried to give Octavia hope. "If he's not better by tomorrow, I'll kill him myself."

I walked off, demanding Octavia come with me, but she refused. I didn't say anything more, but took another look in Y/N's direction. Her back was to me and just by the way she was hunched over, I could tell she was livid.

We had been hunting for a few hours when we came across a lone boar feeding. I told the group to be quiet, claiming the kill for myself. A twig snapped and I quickly turned, fearing the worst as I swung my axe and hit a tree behind me.

A girl, no older then twelve was next to the tree, looking at the axe I had just thrown only a foot away from her. The rest of the group ran off after the boar as I approached the young girl.
