There we were.
Just Jihoon and I.
Walking side to side at the place we never thought we'd ever walk together again, at.
The beach where we wanted to voice out our wedding vows.
But this time, we were not as lovers.

"It's still as beautiful as I remember." I smiled, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Even at night, this place was beautiful.
The sky allows the sun to shine in the morning yet it also allows the stars to stand out at night just as beautifully.
It was, exquisite.

"It could've been more beautiful." Jihoon painfully smiled.
Yes, It could have.
It would have been nice to come here and remember the beautiful memory of us starting a life together.
But instead, it gave us pain and regrets.

But whoever said..

"We can still always make it even more beautiful." I smiled and looked at Jihoon in the eyes.

That you can't rewrite the stars?

"No one ever said that we can't continue what was meant to happen." I added.
Jihoon was slightly growing a little confused.

"This place was meant for that."

"And I..I want it to happen..again." I smiled even bigger as tears started forming.
Jihoon was already getting a hint of what I was trying to say as his face lit up differently this time.

"I love you, Jihoon." I finally admitted.
His lips began forming a huge smile.

"I always will no matter what life does to try and set us apart."

"I will always end up back to you. Because it's you that i'm meant to be with." I continued, walking closer to him.

"It's you that I want to be with."

"For the rest of my life." I smiled, and placed a hand on his cheeks.
He looked at me with pure happiness written in his eyes.
I was just as happy as he is, being able to finally let out what I truly feel.
This is what it should be like.
Despite the pain, the hell i've been through.
We all deserve to breath freely.
We all deserve a rainbow after a storm.
Jihoon was my rainbow.

"I don't know what to say.." he chuckled and wiped his tears away.

"Really?" He asked again, his smile reached to both sides of his ears.

"I mean..I can always take back what I said." I teased.

"No, don't" he immediately pouted and pulled me in even closer to him.

"Okay okay. You can let go now." I chuckled.

"No." He sternly said.

"I'll never let you go." He added, his smile coming back.

"Not again." He continued.
He smiled at me for a second and the next thing I felt was the both of us leaning in.
His lips pressed against mine finally.
Our lips moved in harmony and passionately.
Like we have been longing for this for such a long time.
It was more than just a kiss.
It had an assurance.
That this time everything will be just right.
Just like how it's supposed to be.

He finally pulled away and stared into my eyes.

"I love you." He professed.

"I love you too."

****

We walked back, hand in hand.
Catching up with our lives like we never did before.
There was so much more things that I can tell him now.
From the day I woke up without any memories of him.
Til the day that I finally realized that he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
He did the same.
We had a better understandment with eachother's suffering throughout the year.
I missed him.
Hell, I really did.
This is what I really wanted,
For us to start once again.
It took time, but we got there.

Jihoon's POV

"Goodnight beautiful." I stared at the face of the love of my life.
She looked back at me with the same feelings that I felt.
She looked even more dashing than usual.
She was feeling love.
And it was for me.
Finally.

"Get home safe, okay?" She reminded and gave me a sweet peck on the cheeks.

"I will." She finally let go and slowly walked to her front gate.
She gave me one last look before entering her house.
As she was out of my sight, I couldn't help but yell in silence.
Finally!
I did it.
I did it!
The person I love,
The one I never ever thought would be able to reciprocate my feelings,
loves me back.
She was right,
No matter how much faith tries to set us apart.
It will still find a way back together.
And here we are.
We are back together.
To make things right.
Better, even.

I happily walked back to my car and sat down on the drivers seat.
I still couldn't get over the fact that Seoyoon was mine again.
I finally started the car and drove off.

-

"I'm home." I yelled through the living room.
Everyone looked over to me and said hi.
I immediately walked over to the kitchen with a smile on my face and took out a bottle of tequilla.

"Guys, let's drink." I invited everyone else and started preparing 10 glasses.
Everyone began looking at me weirdly.

"Is there anything wrong?" Jaehwan hyung asked, walking over to me.

"No, nothing at all." I smiled at him, and proceeded on pouring the tequilla on everyone's glass.

"I just you know, haven't had the chance to drink with you guys for awhile." I explained.

"That's because you always say no." Woojin rolled his eyes.

"Well, i'm asking you guys to come drink with me now." I chuckled and handed him his glass.

"Well, we can't say no to that now can we?" Seongwu hyung laughed and took his own glass.
Everyone walked over to the kitchen and took their own glass, still confused.
Well, I don't usually initiate any drinking session.
Maybe that's why.

"You seem to be in a good mood." Minhyun hyung came forward and sat down beside me.

"Well..I am." I smiled to them.

"Hmm, that's a first in awhile. What's up?" Daniel Hyung excitedly asked.

"Seoyoon..and I.." I trailed off.

"Are back together." I finished off.

"For real??" They all chorused at once.

"I wish I was lying." I smiled from ear to ear.
They all gave me a handshake and said their congrats altogether.

"I told you, you could do it!" Jaehwan hyung happily said.

"So when's the wedding?" Sungwoon hyung asked.

"Well, no wedding yet." I sounded almost disappointed.
But, she and I just got back together, I can't rush things.

"But, this is a good start. You can get there." Minhyun hyung encouraged.

"So this really does call for a celebration."

"Cheers to Jihoon and Seoyoon!" Jaehwan hyung initiated a toast.
All joined and finally we just took the rest of the night to just celebrate and enjoy life.
It's been a long time since I had this much fun.
I never thought I could get myself to have fun again.
But here I am, being just like the old times.
Where I was happy, contented and just, me.
