terrible friend

hi I'm y/n  hossler I'm 18 years old and I'm a senior in high school I live with my mom and my dad and my older brother Jaden he's 19 and is famous on TikTok  I hate his fame so much because people will come up to us and ask to take pictures every time we are out but he's been on tour all summer and is coming back today his best friend is Josh Richards another famous tik toker he is so annoying ugh but my parents are making me drive to the airport to go get them so I grabbed my keys and walked out and drove to the airport and out came Jaden and Josh

Jaden: Y/N HIII

Y/n: hi J I missed you

we hugged I really did miss him and then Josh came up to me we both didn't really like eachother but we still said hi

Josh: hi y/n

Y/n: hi Josh

we hugged awkwardly

Jaden: well lets go I can't wait to see Mom and Dad

Josh: yeah I wish

Josh's parents and siblings live in Canada so he really doesn't get to see them often and basically lives at our house but really he has his own apartment I always have felt bad for him in that sense

Y/n: hey Josh we're sorry

Jaden: yeah we didn't mean-

Josh: I know you guys didn't mean it it just sucks that I can't see my family often and I know it was my choice but they never really make an effort to come see me I am always the one flying there

We group hug

Y/n: but for real this time let's go home and get back to OUR family

Josh: you really mean that

Y/n: I do

We go to the car and then I drive the two home Jaden is riding shotgun and Josh is in the back and then we arrive at home

Mom: JADEN MY BOY YOUR HOME

Dad: JADEN

they do a group hug

Mom: oh hi Josh how are you?

Josh: good Mrs. Hossler

Mom: Josh your practically my son call me Mom or Ms. H

Josh: I know Ms. H I just forgot

Mom: alright that's okay

josh said hi to my dad also and then Jaden went back to talking to them all day long and Josh was kind of chilling looking sad on his own so I went over to him

Y/n: Josh are you okay

Josh: yeah why do you care?

Y/n: I don't know I feel bad that Jaden isn't hanging out with you and don't feel bad if you want to leave and hang with other friends cause I certainly know I would leave if my friend was being as terrible as Jaden is

Josh: thanks Y/n but I'm good

Y/n: hey why are you always so rude to me I'm just trying to be nice

Josh: hey you used to be rude to me too

Y/n: yeah well maybe I should still

I walked away and he left a few hours later Jaden was still at home but he must have not been answering his calls  because Josh called me

Call between Y/n and Josh

Y/n: Josh what's up

Josh: well none of my friends are picking up so I figured I would try you

Y/n: what's up

Josh: well first of if Jaden is there can I talk to him

Y/n: yeah I'll see

I waked downstairs to where my parents and Jaden were and asked Jaden to talked to Josh and he said no he was in the middle of something

Y/n: sorry Josh he doesn't want to talk but what do you need

Josh: well I'm at a party and I'm not drunk but I had a few and I don't think it's safe for me to drive and I don't want to call and Uber cause those are sketchy

Y/n: fine text me the address and I'll be there soon

End of call

He texted me the address and I told my parents I was going on a late night food run and would be back soon I know I didn't have to lie but Jaden would have been mad if I said I was picking Josh up  but I get there and he gets in the car

Josh: thanks for doing this y/n

Y/n: hey no problem it's good of you to be responsible

Josh: thanks and can we not tell Jaden about this

Y/n: yeah sure no problem

Josh: and hey I'm sorry for being rude to you earlier I was just I don't even know why do we not get along

Y/n: well actually it's my fault when we were younger I got really mad at you because Jaden was my best friend and you took him from me

now we were sitting outside his apartment complex in the car

Josh: I'm sorry I really didn't know I was always kind of rude to you cause well you were to me

Y/n: well yeah I'm sorry

Josh: it's fine goodnight y/n

Y/n: goodnight Josh

We hugged over the console of the car but this time it wasn't awkward after that I left and went home

Jaden: hey your back where's your food

Y/n: oh um I couldn't decide what to get so I got none

Jaden: oh ok I mean I would have just chosen in and  out but you do you

Y/n: Jaden you know it would take 30 minutes to get there

Jaden: I know but it's definitely worth that drive the view when you drive there is amazing

Y/n: I know I do have to agree

Jaden: let's go to bed it's late

We go to bed
