We woke up the next day and went downstairs for breakfast I overheard Jaden and Josh talking I guess Josh came here this morning

Jaden: why did you leave yesterday

Josh: well you were spending time with your fam and I didn't want to bother you

I walked downstairs

Jaden: hey y/n why did you lie to me about where you went last night

Y/n: well you were so happy with Mom and Dad I didn't want to ruin your fun so I just didn't tell you

We hugged but he seemed unhappy still

Jaden: why she lied

Y/n: I thought you said you weren't mad

Jaden: I'm mad because she lied about picking you up

Josh: I didn't want her to tell you cause I was embarrassed okay I was scared that you would get mad I was drunk again okay even after I tried to call you

Jaden: Josh it's okay I'm your best friend you can talk to me about anything and I'm not going to judge cause we all have our fair share of drunk times

We hug and I go over to Josh

We separate from the hug
