he opened his arms for me to sit next to him so I did

Y/n: dinner is in like an hour it's not just the sway boys and there families it's both sides of my family as well

Josh: uh so I have to meet both sides of your family looking like this

Josh has been around for a while so he has met some of my family like my moms sister Julie but that's really it cause we don't really see our family other than holidays and the past few years Josh has gone home for the holidays

Y/n: babe you look hot always even with a few finger splints, a cast, a formerly collapsed lung and a few broken ribs

Josh: thank you but your family is going to think I'm a freak or something

Y/n: it's okay I'll just show them pictures of when you were hitting the gym everyday with those abs

Josh: hey they are still right here

he lifted up his shirt and he had a lot of bruises

Y/n: aww baby do those hurt

Josh: yeah my whole body does

Y/n: hey don't feel pressured to go tonight okay I want to make sure your okay first your always my priority

Josh: no I just need a little rest do you mind if we show up a little late

Josh: I need a nap do you want to take one with me

I set an alarm for an hour later when we were supposed to go to my parents so we would arrive before dinner was served

an hour later the alarm went off and we both woke up I helped Josh get dressed and helped him put his sling on for his arm and then I got dressed and then drove over to my parents house

Josh: I don't know if I'll ever be able to drive again y/n I think I might be scared for life

Y/n: I feel so bad for you like just more anxiety to add to your list

Josh: it's okay I guess as long as I have you

he smiled at me and them we arrived at my parents
house and went in to a ton of people

Josh: holy-

I think he felt uncomfortable cause he was in sweatpants and a tshirt but he just got out of the hospital today

Y/n: I know

Bryce: boys y/n and Josh are here
