As silence ensued, he couldn't help but looked at the girl who hid in his neck, giggling for a moment, finding her behavior adorable, especially when she was all red and embarrassed. It was uncharacteristic for her to do so, but not unbelievable, as Tanjiro knew she was not exactly great at showing emotions. This must be a first for her.

After a few minutes, the [H/C]-haired then sighed, "Besides, you do this everytime, don't you? Hugging me? I won't question it, but it is odd."

Tanjiro chuckled as he calmed down, "I guess it turned into a habit..?"

'Where are you, Tanjiro?' Zenitsu thought, speeding across the mansion with Shoichi. 'I can still hear that creepy sound.. and [F/N]-chan.. I just hope they're safe and sound.'

"Um, Zenitsu-san.." Shoichi breathed out, his breathing unsteady from all the running. "Is it just me, or.. are we going around in circles?"

Zenitsu came to a halt, his eyes blinking in realization. "I knew it!" He exclaimed, turning his head to the younger boy. "I was getting the same feeling..! Good job, Shoichi! I knew I could count on you!"
