Bryna

"You're just like Damien." I say with a laugh, "Too gay to function!"

Evan throws a handful of popcorn at me and I squeal, gathering a few pieces from my big, refillable cinema popcorn bag that I kept in the closet in case I ever went broke again and had to recycle my purchase. Good thing I kept it.

I toss my popcorn at him and laugh.

"I am so not too gay to function." he says defensively. "I can totally pull off being straight."

"Yea, okay."

"Maybe not around you, but strangers think I like girls."

Just then the doorbell rings and I pause the movie subconsciously.

"Yea right, I guarantee if I gave people a survey over half of them would say you're gay."

"Whatever! I'll prove it. I'm gonna be straight for a minute and see if this lad at the door can read right through me."

"Who the hell is at the door anyway?" I ask, getting to my feet after having placed all of the crap on my lap onto the coffee table.

"I dunno." he says, following after me.

The doorbell rings again as we're walking and I look to Evan and say, "Goddamnit relax!"

"They sure are eager."

"Eager to judge your gay ass," I say with a laugh, unlocking the door and turning slowly towards the eager person standing on my porch.

My eyes widen in fear as I see who it is.

Danny stands there all bundled up in a trench coat and beanie, a worried look in his eyes underneath is large framed glasses as he takes Evan and I in, both of us standing at the door barely clothed.

I have on a tank top, but no bra, and some sweat pants. Ev is wearing only his boxers.

This must look really bad from Danny's perspective.

I avoid his eyes, looking around at the cloudy sky instead, trying to think up a plan on how to get myself out of this situation.

Evan clears his throat and I about elbow him in the gut, but I don't know what I would say if I he's not doing all the talking.

"What's up dude?" he asks Danny, leaning against the doorframe behind me and placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" Danny asks.

I cringe hoping to God Evan doesn't realize that this is Danny O'Donoghue of The Script standing in front of us.

You'd think if anything would be a dead give it away it would be the accent, but I guess Evan's just too focused on his straight boy act, because he pays Danny little attention.

"Yes, as a matter of fact you are." Ev says, trying to sound tough. "Bryn and I were about to get down to business."

I almost choke as I feel his lips on the back of my neck, and I cringe until he is spinning me around and pressing his lips against mine.

"What the hell?" I hear Danny say under his breath.

I quickly push Evan away and turn to Danny, but he's already turning to leave.

"He's gay!" I shout.

"What the hell Bryna?" Evan says. "You fucking bitch!"

"He's just my gay best friend that is trying to prove that he can act straight and for the record I had no idea he was going to do that." I say referring to the kiss.
