Maddie's POV I just got the job as a bev cart girl and couldn't be more excited. Now they were interviewing Liv. I really hoped she was going to get it. Then we could have summer jobs together.
Layla's POV I was driving one of the golf carts back to the clubhouse given it was almost the end of the day when I saw a girl in a pink dress with yellow and purple flowers standing there and nod her head. "We'll be in touch." I heard Mr. McHart say as he checked something off in his notebook. As the girl practically skipped away I heard him say "not" under his breath. "That bad huh?" I asked once the girl was out of an earshot. "Pretty much. Although we did have one." "Oooh let me see." I said approaching him. "I can't tell you until she's hired officially. You know that. Although I expect you two will become best buds." I gave him a look. He knew how I felt about the summer wave of beverage cart girls. "Doubt it." "I think you might." "And why's that?" "Because starting Monday you will be training her."
