"Hermes, I have a task for you."

"Anything, father," the god of messengers replied. Over the millennia, he'd found that it was best to be straightforward and accommodating when Zeus was in one of his moods. He kept his jovial and mischievous nature at bay.

"I need you to look into one Sally Jackson. She lives in New York, and she is a problem."

"A mortal? How much of a problem could she be?"

"More than you have any right to know. Now, I require information. You know the kind."

"Yes, father."

"You are dismissed."

Hermes clicked his heels together, and wings sprouted from his sandals on either side. He swiftly flew out of the throne room on Mt. Olympus, off to find whoever this Sally Jackson was and discover why she was so important.
