it's weird,
that she feels drawn to certain people,
who she's not necessarily attracted to.
she just wants to talk to them,
be in their presence,
hear their voice on loop.
it must be some sort of connection they had;
some force that kept her hooked.
for she will stay up all night,
just so she could get another look.
they talked for hours,
until the sky turned rosy.
something about them,
made her feel whole and cozy.
she wants it to continue,
but soon falls asleep.
with their voice in the background,
she replays the things they said on repeat.
she smiles to herself and mutters,
"how lucky i am to meet her."
but as the euphoria dies down,
something inside her remains bitter.
