So here's an update.

This will be separated into two parts. I'm getting to the drama. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing, but it will get a bit feisty here.

Let me know what you think of Anton and Howard's relationship,

and also, what are your thoughts on Lorcan?

Best wishes, x)

PS: I am about to cross my 50, 000 word limit very soon. It's exciting.

Chapter 20 – You break my neck, I break your heart

His shirt feels like it shouldn't be there at all. And I envy it. His hair is too perfect; my fingers twist and tousle it, and it still feels too neat.

I hate this room, and I hate the people in it. I wish we were back in the dorm. I wish we didn't have so much space between us. I wish we were one person.

I need to hear his every thought. I need to feel how oxygen fills his lungs; I need to taste the freedom. I need to sense every tingle he has when I touch him, every doubt he has when he is unsure to kiss me back.

No, he's too far from me. I pull him closer, but there is no closer.

I let go of his shirt and lock my fingers around his neck. Please, kiss me more.

I am begging for him to deepen the kiss, to do more. And his hand is on the small of my back, the other on my cheek.

We're doing it wrong. I want more.

"Wow! I can feel the heat already," Jocelyn cheers, jumping up and down.

I get distracted and pull away, not taking my hands off of Anton. I'm afraid he might run away.

"I can't believe I am jealous of you," she shakes her head. "Actually, I can believe it."

She isn't making any sense.

Anton rests his head against mine, breath on my neck. I shiver. "That was awesome," he whispers and it tickles. "I am drunk on you. Wasted." I bite my lip.

Then I see a face that doesn't belong. "Lorcan," I mutter angrily, and Anton pulls away. He is searching for his face.

Jocelyn is confused, scared even. "I'm sorry," she says. "I'm sorry."

Lorcan is frozen in place, horrified. He blinks like he's been hit by something by accident.

How is he here all of a sudden? I haven't seen a familiar face so far. I guess these are the odds. No familiar faces, yet there is one, and it belongs to Lorcan.

"How dare you," Anton starts and is ready to throw a punch. He has already walked closer to him where the music isn't that loud, and I have followed. I try to stop him, Anton, I mean.

"Whatever," Lorcan rolls his eyes. "I was going back anyways."

"Good," Anton nods, teeth pressed together.

"Didn't know you were a couple," Lorcan marks. "Well, I guess congratulations."

I don't believe him. Anton doesn't, either.

"Enjoy your night," he says, and I'm pretty sure in his mind he adds 'while you can'. Or maybe not. We have only seen one side of him. And no person is only one thing.

The glow sticks are seriously awesome. I dance with a stranger and she hands me one. It's pink. Anton laughs at me, and at the stick, and then he takes it from me, brushes it against my nose and laughs more. I roll my eyes.
