THE FATHERS ALL SOON LEFT ON KAYAKS, presumably to spread the coach's ashes. everyone else stayed behind at the cabin, Donna's mother, and Becky taking care of the hurt bird from last night.
Natasha quickly made herself busy, looking through Pinterest for a Vegan recipe, considering the twins are Vegans. some-thing she found out when she realized their orders from their eat out. she never out right asked them, so she's purely just assuming right now.
however, since Grayson saw what she intended to make, and went to clean some pans when asked, she's assuming she assumed correctly.
she figured, as she cuts a avocado, that she would do a simple lunch for everyone else, hamburger helper. all the while she makes crispy tofu burrito bowls for the twins, vegan, of course.
Grayson tried to tell her she didn't need to. that he'd make his and his brothers food, like he usually does. but the girl had none of it, giving him a look to shut up him. which he rightfully did, chuckling at her determination.
as she cut the tofu into small bites, putting it in a bowl with safe seasonings and tossing it, she noticed a clicking of heels come their way. though she didn't bother to lookup, only to talk over her shoulder to Grayson.
"can you hand me the olive oil?"
the man looked away from the boiling water, nodding and sifting through the cabinets. when he found it, he turned his back to the stove, uncapping the bottle and drizzling some on the tofu.
"and, what're you two making?" Roxannes strong accent caught their attention, making the two pause briefly to look at her.
Grayson smiled lightly at his mother, whom sat at one of the islands stools, "hamburger helper for everyone, tofu burrito bowls for us, Natasha insists she makes it."
said girl clicked her tongue, hip bumping him away from her. Roxanne smiled at the two, not surprised to see her son cooking, but happy to see he's bonding with the girl he likes. though she was surprised to hear that the girl wanted to make a Vegan dish for her boys, first girlfriend they had that was mindful of their way of living.
"sounds delicious," Roxanne rested her elbow on the counter, watching as the girl moved to a pan, putting the seasoned tofu in it to cook. "thank you for that Natasha, i'm sure my boys will enjoy it and be grateful."
