Meredith Rose was a full blood Kook until her cold-hearted bitch of a mother dipped on her and her pops for some douchy mainlander. I am proudly her neighbor and best friend of four years and counting. She's always been a loose cannon ever since she moved to the Cut. Owen, her pops, works twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week but still doesn't bring in enough money to afford the bills without Mer's help. Mer's always in her own head. I think she's reliving her days as a Kook as if she was still living on Figure Eight. We don't mind though. She had her whole world rocked, but still acts as if it doesn't mess with her head. But that's Mer for you. Kook by thought, Pogue by heart. I guess she's pretty cool."
