The Prophecy

Chapter 6: An Unexpected Reveal

After defeating the easiest akuma compared to the most recent ones Marinette and Adrien were able to go to sleep and wait for Emma to expose Hawkmoth and Mayura.

The morning came and Marinette woke up on time got ready and went to school. Alya was already there and had a seemed very eager about something.

"Hey Marinette, how are you doing?" Alya asked in an excited tone.

"Hey Alya you seem happy." Marinette stated.

"I am happy, happy for you!" Alya exclaimed.

"What are you talking about?" Marinette said super confused.

"You will find out when someone special gets here." Alya said biting her lip with excitement.

And right as she said that Adrien's limo came rolling and he got out and saw Marinette and walked right up to her and he seemed kinda nervous.

"Hey Marinette I need to ask you something." Adrien stated.

"Okay I'm gonna go stand over there." Alya said and walking over where Nino came in and giving Marinette two thumbs up.

"What did you wanna ask me?" Marinette asked.

Adrien took Marinette's hand and she started to blush. "How would feel if I took you out to dinner this Saturday?" Adrien asked in a very flirty way.

Marinette blushed even more and said "Yes I would love to."

"Great I'll text you a time a little later okay." Adrien said.

"Okay." Marinette answered

They went to class and Ms. Bustier turned on a history documentary to watch and soon Mr.Damocles came in the room.

"Ms.Bustier I need Adrien to come with me." Mr.Damocles said in a serious tone that made everyone worried. "Also I sent you a video I need you to show everyone now."

Mr.Damocles took Adrien to his office to talk and Ms.Bustier pulled up the video and watched it.

Adrien arrived at the office where he saw a police officer and the school psychologist with very worried looks.

"Adrien please sit down, this is Officer Charpentier and Dr.Brodeur and we have some very bad news to tell you but it might be best if we show you." Mr.Damocles said pulling up the video on his
computer to show Adrien and his reaction was not pretty.

After seeing the video he was frozen and then started crying at what he saw. His dad is Hawkmoth.

Before they could say anything Adrien got up and ran out the door to the locker room where he sat in a corner and cried.

Back at the class room

The video ended and everyone was either crying or they were frozen. Then the room went to chaos.

"How could he do this to the city! And to his own son!" Nino shouted.

"Gabriel is going to pay for his crimes!" Alya shouted.

"This 100% not cool!" Max shouted.

Marinette didn't say anything but she stood up and ran out of the classroom to the locker room. She was about to go to the bathroom when she heard sobbing in the corner and realized it was Adrien. She walked over crouched down and hugged him. Adrien responded by looking up and hugging back and pulling her closer and he cried on her shoulder because she gave him the comfort and freedom to be able to finally express these feelings.

They sat there for a few moment till they heard a familiar voice. They looked up and saw it was Emma.

"What do you want?" Adrien said.

"To tell you guys an idea of what's to come." Emma said in a serious tone that starting to scare them. "But do you remember when I said that Hawkmoth is my paternal grandfather?"

That is when it hit Adrien this girl that is talking to him is his daughter and she knew his secret and also that she was telling Marinette this he was starting to put the pieces together. Marinette also realized as well that Emma was Adrien's daughter.

"So hopefully you guys have put it together and can also be together." Emma said.

Adrien looks at Marinette and asks. "Marinette are you Ladybug?"

Marinette's eyes went huge and that's when she finally realized and asked. "If you're Cat Noir?"

Adrien didn't say anything instead he cupped her face and put his lips on hers. Emma looked away and was grossed out like any child would when they see their parents kissing.

"I'll take that as a yes?" Marinette asked smiling.

"Yes you can." Adrien said.

Emma cleared her throat reminding them that they had an audience. "Anyway... here is what you need to do..." Emma then explains what they need to do and what she's gonna do.

The intercom turned on a it dismissed the students to go home Marinette and Adrien quickly got out of there and went to Marinette's house. They were greeted by Tom and Sabine who gave Adrien a lot of sympathy and also some croissants. They went to Marinette's room and just cuddled on her chaise enjoying each other's embrace and waited for the inevitable.

That was chapter 6 of "The Prophecy" I hope you liked. I had to pretty much rewrite this whole chapter because it didn't save properly before I published it the first time around.
