Reading, heart-pounding,
needing him to kiss her lips,
as much as she does.
Onward to picnics
and sunny days when love reigned,
and joy conquered all.
Music to dance to,
a warm body to hold tight.
Reality sleeps.
Antique jewelry, old
like the love he gives to her,
eternal, endless.
Never say goodbye
even when pages are turned.
I won't forget you!
Characters we are
in war, in love, and in life
God's Romance novel.
Each day brings surprise,
every page, a milestone.
never stop reading.
