23 - Me and My Lies
The certain sight that Luke was viewing could only make his eyes narrow in pure confusion. The shock was apparent to Ashton and Calum, and they had to bite their smirks away before they let out information too early.
"What is this?" Luke finally asked, slowly sliding himself into the couch across from the pair.
Ashton was lounging in Calum's lap while the other had his arms wrapped around him from behind, like the closeness and intimacy was no big deal and like their initial feud was non-existent.
Luke had dropped Michael off at his own apartment once they were done with their conversation and he comes back home to see Ashton still here and oddly being too close to Calum.
But Ashton ignored the question and asked, "Did you fuck Michael?"
Luke gritted his teeth against each other. The two in front of him couldn't seem to stop with their battle over Michael, and like he just told the said man, he was going to put himself in that war if he had to.
"That's none of your business." Luke crossed his arms with a glare.
"He didn't." Calum chuckled out darkly as his arms tightened more around Ashton.
"So what? It doesn't mean anything." Luke rolled his eyes, defending his position.
"I didn't say that it did. It's okay." Ashton said sweetly, too sweet for Luke's taste.
"But?" He waited for the other's comeback.
"There's no but to it. You have to work harder than us to get Michael's attention. Only because you two have a past and Calum and I don't."
"What the hell happened when I was gone that you're now calling Hood by his first name?"
"We had a little intervention." Ashton smiled mischievously.
"Well care to share?"
"Should we share with blondie?" Ashton basically purred in Calum's ear, gripping his hands onto the other's that were resting on his lap.
Calum smiled down at the other with a teasing look, since he felt Ashton's deviousness sprouting out by the fact that Luke was out of the loop of their plan at the moment. This gave them power in the situation.
"We have an idea and we want you to be a part of it." Calum answered Ashton's question by telling Luke this as he looked in his direction.
"What idea?" Luke asked confused.
"Ashton and I shared some honesty with each other and it's too obvious that we both feel things for each other and for Michael and you." Calum started, seeing Luke's eyes progressively keep getting larger as he explained, "We want you two to join us."
