TEN ━━━ THE BOY
UNDER THE WEEPING
RAIN

THERE WAS ALWAYS A MOMENT where a choice may forever linger on someone's back. Being a ghost of conscience whispering in your ear as voices from Metanoia would wail on your sorrows of regret. You may walk through the cycle of life like everyone else. However, your thoughts may linger back to that one moment of choice.

Kageyama felt that it was the wrong decision. His guardian angel of fate kept on pulling the male back to your disappearing form, but he didn't comply. He didn't want to step over your boundaries and respect your decision of walking alone.

They were just friends, after all.

But as he remembered the disappointed look in her eyes when she thanked him for the enjoyable time they had, the setter thought that there was more to it than meet's the eye.

"What were you supposed to tell me, Y/N-san," Kageyama whispered from suspicion as he took off his school shoes by the door of his home. He shouts out the usual greeting he usually says before he enters the solaces of the family household.

His sister greeted the setter, stepping outside of the kitchen to meet her brother with a spatula in hand. "Oh, Tobio-kun! Done walking Y/N home? That was pretty quick." She indicated and watched the male version of herself gazed back at her by the call of his name.

Kageyama frowned at the mention of the young girl's name, "We hanged out for a little while, but she wanted to walk back home alone," He elucidated as he ignored his sister's questioning stares. "Onee-san, do I have something on my face?" He asked, oblivious from the older's look of disbelief.

Miwa shook her head and palmed her forehead with a sigh. "You really don't know girls, Tobio-kun." She told her confused brother and went back into the kitchen.

The Karasuno setter tilted his head, puzzled by his older sister's disappointment as the sounds of her footsteps faltered for a moment before it soon progressed back to the doorway leading to their narrow hallway. Like a reflex, he caught the umbrella his sister threw at him, though he almost dropped it from the sudden movement. "OI! WHAT THE HE-" He was interrupted with a slap on his head.

"Are you stupid? The clouds are starting to turn grey, and your girlfriend will get wet from the rain!" The older of the two reprimanded, crossing her arms before speaking up once again, "If you leave right now, you might catch up with her." She finished.

Kageyama's ears perked up in attention, "It's gonna rain?" He asked, but it was as if he was talking to himself. The high schooler didn't bother to listen to his sister's reply as he already reached for his sliders, slipping them on with his hand due to his other preoccupied hand with the umbrella. He opened the front door and left his home once again, jogging on the route to your apartment.

'Idiot, your place is pretty far, but you didn't bring an umbrella.' He thought, calling you out like you could hear him from a mile away. Droplets of salty rainfall met his skin as thundering roars erupted from the grey sky.
