Glasses, I wear them,
To see everything clear,
But I never knew,
They too conceal the deepest fears.
Behind them are two eyes,
Unending like the skies
A lot of emotions hidden deep inside
Who knew,
They could only be seen by Allies.
Glasses, I often want to remove,
But when I see the sorrow - filled eyes behind,
I put them back on,
I think it, Atleast I tried.
The glass that makes it,
Reveals the true me,
When I look at myself,
I see a side, others can't see.
It is very hard to express,
I often wonder why,
Would people call me names,
I think and remain shy.
Yes, I do wear glasses,
It may make me look more ugly,
But I'm proud of the fact,
That they conceal the real me,
That they conceal the real me.
