Today was Thursday, and tomorrow was the boxing match that Sonny had invited me to.
So Kay insisted that we should go shopping for basically a outfit for tomorrow.
"Hello?" I asked as I answered my phone.
"Julie, it's Laura." She said.
"How's it going Aunt Laura?" I asked.
"Pretty good, just wanted to see if you were busy Saturday?" She asked.
"I'm not busy Saturday." I said.
"Well we're going out on Saturday." She said.
"I'd love too." I said.
"Great, we'll pick you up around ten-thirty, eleven-ish." She said.
"Thanks Laura." I said.
"Of course Julie. I'll see you Saturday." She said.
"Okay, see you then." I said then hanged up.
"You got plans Saturday?" Kay asked.
"My aunt was me to go "clubbing" with them." I said.
"So we're shopping for two outfits." She said.
"My aunt also said I could bring someone, but who would I bring?" I asked.
"You could take Sonny." Kay said.
"I don't know, you think he'd even wanna go?" I asked.
"You know how Sonny is, he'd do anything for you." She said.
"Should I ask him over the phone or in person?" I asked.
"I'm pretty sure, Michaels at the house." She said.
"So nerve wreaking." I said.
"Julie, you have nothing to fear. Sonny adores you." She said.
We finished our shopping, then went to go grab a bite.
"We're for sure going there after this." Kay said.
"What if Sonny isn't even there?" I asked.
"Sonny is for sure there, Michael confirmed it." She said.
"Oh geez." I said.
"You got this, I believe in you Julie." She said.
"Thanks." I said.
We then made our way to the house.
The gates opened and we pulled onto the driveway. Kay parked the car, then turned it off. We both got out and I followed her into the house.
"Michael?" She called out.
She turned her head right then left.
"Their outside." She said walking towards the back door.
She opened the door and stepped out as I followed.
"Finally, you two are back." Michael said.
"We didn't take that long." Kay said.
"I know, but it felt like it." Michael said giving Kay a kiss.
"So what are you two up to?" Kay asked.
"Just yanno talking." Michael said.
"About business?" I asked.
"Yanno the usual." Michael said.
"Of course." I said rolling my eyes.
"You ready for tomorrow?" Sonny asked.
