"Julie, Sonny is here." My father yelled.
"She'll be down in a minute." My mother yelled back.
"I'm nervous." I said.
"Stop, you got this okay?" She asked.
"Okay." I said taking a deep breath.
"I'll see you down there." She said leaving my room.
I grabbed my purse and did a quick look into my mirror.
Fuck I looked so good.
I turned off my light and closed my door. I soon made my way down the stairs. He was sitting by Ton, talking to him and my father.
"Who's ready to party?" I asked as I came down the stairs.
He tried to say something, but words couldn't come out.
"Darling, you look gorgeous."
I looked over and there was aunt Laura and her husband Paul.
"Laura when did you guys get here?" I asked running up to her and hugging her.
"We got here twenty minutes ago. My darling you look gorgeous." She said.
"Thanks you. Hey, Paul how've you been?" I asked.
"Pretty good and you?" He asked as we hugged.
"I've been good." I said.
"So is it just you or?" Laura asked.
"I asked Sonny to join." I said as Sonny walked towards us.
"Sonny how've you been?" Laura asked.
"I've been good." Sonny said hugging her.
"Nice to see you again Sonny." Paul said.
"You too Paul." Sonny said shaking his hand.
"So are you guys ready?" Laura asked.
"Oh yeah." I said.
We said goodbye to the family and made our way out of the house.
"Are you guys going to follow us or you guys could ride with us?" Paul said.
"We'll just follow behind." Sonny said.
"Perfect." Laura said.
We watched Paul and Laura get into their car then we got headed towards Sonnys.
"Julie you really are, fucking stunning." He said as he opened the door for me.
"Could say the same about you." I said as I got into the car.
We got into the car and followed my Aunt and Uncle to the club.
"Is it just us or?" I asked.
"It's just us, everyone else claim they were busy." Laura said rolling her eyes.
"Their loss." I said.
"Yeah their gonna miss such a great time with their niece." She said.
"Yeah." I said.
We got into the club and found a spot to seat. We began to order drinks. Once they came, Laura and Paul decided to make a little toast.
"Here's to Julie with graduating Harvard, and what an impact you'll have in the future." Paul said.
"Cheers." I said then taking the shot.
