28. 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖

3 year later...

"Baby."

... no answer... kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.

"Hmm?" you groan as you're being attacked with many soft kisses around your face.

"Get up, baby. We're going on a hike today," Kita softly calls out as you smile with all of the blankets wrapped on you.

"Five more minutes; lay with me," you whine like a baby as Kita smiles at your cuteness and decides to listen to you. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you cuddle into his chest and take a breath. 'His smell is the best,' you think to yourself and giggle.

"Why are you laughing to yourself, baby?" he suspiciously asks as you giggle even more and rub your face against his shirt.

"You just smell so good." It was like your guys' honeymoon phase never ended since you both became a couple. Skinships were still a must, pet names were a must, cuddles were a must, game/movie nights were a must, and corny pick up lines were definitely a must. Guess this is what first loves do to people.

"Your five minutes are up, baby." You groan and look up at him with squinting eyes.

"Seriously, Shinsuke? You were really keeping time?" Kita glares at you back.

"Seriously, F/n? You're going to call me by my name?" You giggle and stuff your face into his bare neck. It was always fun teasing him and calling him by his name instead of a pet name. He somehow grew to really enjoy the nicknames that he wouldn't like hearing you use his name unless important.

"I'm just kidding, beb! Let's get up!" You grin and sit up as Kita follows you into the bathroom to do your guys' morning routine. As you're brushing your teeth, Kita comes behind you and wraps his left arm around your waist as he brushes his teeth. "You're being a little more clingy today, baby... is something wrong?" you worriedly ask after you rinse your mouth. Kita let's go of your waist to rinse his mouth as well.

"No, I just want to show you how much love you deserve," he bluntly responds which causes you to blush behind the towel. After you both finish packing snacks and water bottles, you both set out for your first hike. You guys arrived yesterday at the National Park and rested in a hotel.

"Do you know how much I love hikes?" you happily ask as you both are walking through the forest.

"Yes baby, you tell me every time," Kita says but smiles at your cute expressions as you look at the turquoise lake down below.

"If I could, I'd live here!" you exclaim and continue on the 12 mile hike. As you guys are passing by some goats, you excitedly go near one and hold up a peace sign. "Shin-chan! Take a picture of me!" you try to gently yell as Kita immediately takes out his phone to shoot some pictures of you next to the mama goat and baby goat. Every now and then, you both would stop to take a water/snack break or for pictures and then continue. However, every time you both come across a little stream that comes from melted snow, you can't help but stop to touch it and splash your face with the water since it was summer. The entire hike, Kita just admires your beauty and the way your eyes gleam at the landscapes. Still, he was very nervous for what was about to come very soon. Once you both finally reach your guys' destination, you run towards the lake. "Babe, can we go swimming?!" Kita just chuckles at your excitement. Getting to know you more over the years, he's learned how much you loved nature, hiking, swimming, singing, and eating sweets.

"You do know that although it's summer, the water is still very cold since we're in the mountains, right?" Kita asks as you just shrug and hold onto his arm.

"I'm sweating so much, I don't care if the water is freezing! Let's jump in!" You grin and Kita just nods. As you're about to take off your shirt, Kita notices and suddenly wraps a towel around you. "Huh? What are you doing? I have my swimming suit under this." You give him a questioning look at he blushes.

"I-I don't care. Just in case someone walks by." He blushes as you chuckle and give him a kiss on the temple.

"You can be so cute at times, you know that right?" you ask as he slightly pouts.

'When will it be the right time??' he thinks to himself. After you're finished, you run into the water and feel yourself freezing up.

"C-cold!" you squeak as Kita watches in amusement.

"Told ya." Grabbing his bag, he takes out one of your favorite sweets and walks towards you without stepping into the water. "Say, 'ahhh,'" he instructs as you happily copy.

"You would be a very good mom," you say as you chew to Kita who frowns.

"I want to be a good da—"

"But you act more like a mom, Shin-chan. It's so cute!" You grin like a kid as Kita just smiles at the sight in front of him.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're an adult," Kita comments as you pout.

"Stop bullying me!!" you whine. After a while of playing around in the water, you both finally decide to lay on a big towel to dry off and watch the clouds under the trees. "That one looks like a whale!" You point. Looking around, Kita finds something and smiles.

"That one looks like a ring." He points as you turn your head and your eyes widen.

"You're right!" Kita takes a gulp.

"Hey, N/n." You turn your head to look at Kita.

"What, beb?" Kita pauses before continuing. Oh, he was so nervous and he hardly gets nervous about anything unless it has to do with you.

"Do you know why I love you?" he asks as you chuckle.

"Of course! You tell me everyday," you gratefully say as you look up at the sky once more.

"Well, let me remind you again... I love you because of your beauty and when I say beauty, I mean more than just physical appearance. I mean the way you speak passionately about stuff like nature or your singing career, your selflessness when it comes to others, your determination to fulfill your goals, and the way you put effort into everything and everyone. You're more than just an idol even though I love the way your hair flows with the wind, your voice when you sing, the way your eyes sparkle when you go hiking, or your uncontrollable giggles when you watch videos of a gummy bear choir 'singing' Someone Like You by Adele—"

"Please don't throw me under the bus," you interrupt as he just rolls his eyes and continues.

"Everything about you is beautiful and I can't express how happy you make me feel when I'm with you," Kita says and sits up. Curious, you follow his actions and see him grabbing something from his pocket. "You make me feel like a million bucks when I'm with you and when I'm with you, you make me feel like I'm the only one your attention is on." Kneeling on one knee, Kita holds out a box in front of you and opens it. Water starts blurring your vision when you realize what he's doing.

"A-are you serious?" you ask and you sniff while wipe your tears.

"I'm serious, L/n F/n... Will you marry me and spend the rest of our lives together as one?" he asks as you sit on your knees and cry.

"Of course, Kita Shinsuke!! Yes!!" you happily exclaim and throw yourself on him. Kita gladly hugs you back as tight as he could. Pulling back, Kita caresses your cheek before bringing your lips to a passionate kiss.

"I love you so much, N/n," Kita huskily breathes out once you both break the kiss. Touching his face and running your fingers through his hair you smile with watery eyes.

"I love you so much too, Shin-chan!"
