Vanessa's Point of View

I never thought I would say this, but I'm glad it's the Friday and the weekend. Don't get me wrong I love school, but the drama is too much for me to handle. I have friends but and I'm a cheerleader and everything but I can't stand what people are saying about my family. Like how they are suddenly disappearing, or how they suddenly getting bigger like they're on steroids.

My best friend Jacob, and his friends think Sam, Jared, Paul and Embry has change, but I seem them almost everyday at my house and I don't find anything wrong with them, but he thinks otherwise, so we haven't spoken to each other because he thinks I'm on their side now but I didn't understand what he meant by that.

End of Vanessa's POV.

Vanessa

*walks into the house, coming from after school, she enters Emily's house to find Emily home like she does all the time but other times she's at work* Hey Emily

Emily

*looks up* hey Nessa how was school today

Vanessa
*sits down at the kitchen table settle down her bag* good, but just glad it's the weekend*

Emily
*hands her plate of food* get use to it because I know you been busy a lot lately*

Vanessa
yeah with being President of my class, cheerleader and head of the newspaper it's a lot of work

Emily
maybe you should give something up and focus on your school work which is the most important thing

Vanessa
*roll eyes annoyed eats her food that been handed to her* yeah I know, you and Sam already gave me a lecture

Emily
good and your grades better be good this time young lady, you usually get good grades, this is the year colleges starts looking

Vanessa
*groans still annoyed that she getting another lecture* yes ma'am *eats her food*

Emily
so you're 16 birthday coming up any plans?

Vanessa
well I was hoping for Sam to take me to get my permit

Emily
*sighs* Vanessa...

Vanessa
I know you and Sam agreed when I'm 18 but I'm ready now

Emily
sweetheart you're still 15, Sam and I agreed that when you turn 16 it's still too young.

Vanessa
but Sam learned how to drive when he was 16, why can't I
Emily
Vanessa your brother has his reason why you can't get your permit yet

Vanessa
*thinks for a moment gets an idea* well can you take me to get my permit, Sam will never know

Emily
Vanessa I'm not lying for you, and that would be dishonest to your brother

Vanessa
*sighs* fine whatever *takes a bite out of her food*

Emily sighs, they hear a car pulled up, they both look up to see Paul, Jared and Embry all top list still wearing pants. Come in just being boys, and Emily said.

Emily
boys! knocked it off and come and eat

Paul
You don't have to ask us twice *notice Vanessa* hey V *puts her in headlock*

Vanessa
hey Paul and get off me you dickhead! *shoves him off*

The guys laugh and Vanessa just rolls her eyes and Emily gives her a look and she keeps her mouth shut, making the guys laugh but also earning a look from Emily. Sam comes into the house, and says hello to everyone before wrapping his arm around Emily and kissing his fiancee Emily.
