The beginning // Jason Scott

Morphing Time

Everything was dark.

That was it.

There was no light.

It was just dark.

And then I could finally breathe again .

I was breathing

I was okay

I could hear people talking.

But I was in no rush to open my eyes. I just laid there for a moment.

Is this real?

I chocked back up the water that I had swallowed while being in the water.

And I slowly opened my eyes.

I lifted my head off the group and turned to the voices.

"Annie omg!" Kimberly said while running towards me.

I slowly tried to get up but Billy ended up having to help me.

"Hey guys." I whispered

Trini, zach, Billy and Kim all were surrounding me.

"Are you okay?" Asked billy

"Yeah I'm great." I replied.

By now I was crying and so was everyone else.

"Did I die?" I asked

"Yes." Trini respondes

"No." Kimberly says at the same time.

I looked at them with both eyebrows raised.

"A little bit." Zach says

"And you guys bought me back to life?"

"Yeah." Reply's Billy

"Superheroes man." I say making everyone laugh.

"There can only be one red ranger. Jason, this is your time. This is your team." Zordon says making me look over to Jason.

He was the only one who hadn't come near me.

"Thank you." He replies to zordon

Jason then starts to walk towards me and I look at him.

He was crying and walking slowly like he was scared to come near me.

I left the group and closed the space between us and gave him the biggest hug I could.

"Hey." I say breathing in his scent.

He just hugged me tighter

I pulled back and looked up at him.

"Welcome back Annie." He says with tears in his eyes.

I don't know exactly what I was doing But I knew that's this was the right thing.

I closed the space between me and Jason again but this time it wasn't for a hug.

At first he seemed surprised but it only lasted a second before he was returning the Kiss.

It lasted only a few seconds but it was everything I had hoped it would be.

We both smiled at each other once we pulled away. My checks were probably bright red.

A loud cough made me turn around to face the rest of the group, who I had forgotten was there. They all had smiles on there faces.

"Uh not to interrupt that or anything but we gotta go to Krispy Kreme." Billy says.

"What?" Asked Zach confused.

"That's where the crystal is, that's where Rita is going." I say

"Okay, lets try this." Jason says moving towards the white foot pads.

I step onto my pad and waiting for everyone else to do the same.

As soon as Jason stepped onto his pad  the bright light in the centre started glowing even brighter.

"It's morphing time." Says Jason making me smile at him

I closed my eyes and thought of the others

I thought of all our adventures we had done together.

All our training, and all our detentions we spent hanging out.

These are my friends.

And I'm gonna save them.

Just like how they saved me.

I opened my eyes to see purple armour forming down my arm.

This is so cool

I'm iron man baby

It formed a helmet over my head and all my body was covered in purple armour.

I look up to see my friends wearing the same outfit but all different colours.

Let's do this.

Hi, I know this is short and it took me forever to update and I'm really sorry. I've honestly been so busy it's insane.

But where I live just got put back into lockdown last night so I'll probably have more time to update!

Anyway I hope your all staying save!
