LEGACY'S POV

"I know how I said I feel better but now I changed my mind I don't feel better" I said nervously as I sat at a table next to Lorenzo in this restaurant where we are suppose to meet his parents.

"Baby relax" Lorenzo said chuckling a little bit making me glare at him. He cleared his throat then started acting like he was reading the menu.

"LORENZO" I heard making me look up. I saw a small woman who looked like the woman version of Lorenzo walking toward us.

Shit shit shit. Just relax Legacy it will be fine I said in my head as Lorenzo stood up with a big smile on his face. The woman ran up to him and jumped on him. Lorenzo caught her and she wrapped her legs around him hugging him.

That's one excited mother I said in my head as I watch Lorenzo laugh and hug his mother back.

"Mom you keep doing this and people are going to think we are a couple" Lorenzo jokes as he puts his mother down. She smiled and rolled her eyes before turning her attention to me finally noticing me.

"Oh my gosh you are so pretty" she said before walking toward me embracing me in a hug. I slightly panicked but hugged her back. She was so small I had to bend over some.

"I'm Aitana Lorenzo's mother. I know you already know that but since we are meeting in person finally" She said finally louder before glaring at Lorenzo who scratched the back of his head nervously.

"I want to introduce myself again" she continued what she was saying before sending me a small smile. I smiled at her back before introducing myself again.

"I'm Legacy ma'am" I said as she sat down in the seat across from me and Lorenzo.

"Don't call me ma'am it makes me feel old" she said and I nodded. A man walked up to the table and sat down next to Aitana.

"Hello I'm Sawyer this idiot's father." He said and I smiled when he called Lorenzo an idiot.

"Dad this is why I don't like inviting you to meet people" Lorenzo said as he crossed his arms over his chest and playfully flared at his father.

"Aye waiter" Mrs.Johnson said snapping her fingers for the waiter. A young man came up to the table and greeted her.

"Hello Mrs.Johnson welcome back. Will it be the usual today?" The man said making me looked at Lorenzo.

"They own the restaurant" He whispered to me quietly making me sigh.

So I end up dead here...all the witnesses will say that they innocent because they work for them. I mumbled in my head before grabbing Lorenzo's hand. He smiled and kissed the back of my hand softly before turning his attention to his parents.

"So how did you two meet" Mr.Johnson asked as he leaned back putting his arm on the back of Mrs.Johnson's chair.

"We met at Legacy's store when I was trying to get Emma a job. She hired Emma and then hired me to be their photographer" Lorenzo said answering for us both. I smiled at him and bit my lip.

"You own a business. What's it called?" His mother asked curious.

"Legacy's" I said and she smiled at me before pulling her phone out. Sawyer began talking to Lorenzo about something.

"Oh wow you guys are very popular on the south side" Aitana said smiling big. She put her phone away before looking at the boys.

"Can you guys excuse us please. I want to talk to Legacy alone" she said sweetly.

Ahhh shittttt I thought as I looked at Lorenzo and Sawyer who stood up. Lorenzo gave me a small peck on the lips before whispering to me that it was going to be okay. They both left the restaurant and stood outside talking.

"Legacy you are the first person my son has ever asked us to meet. Now with my other son when he asked us to meet some of his girlfriends, I usually immediately know if they were right for my son or not. Most of them aren't right for him while others were just woman to help him learn about relationships and etc" Aitana started and I leaned back in my chair moving my leg onto my other as I listened to her.

"Now with you I like you but I'm just not liking who you establish and think of yourself" she said making me panic some.

What does she mean by that?

"I can see that you're confused, let me explain. When I first saw you on that phone call, you were very scared of talking to me. You may have not been trying to visibly show it but I saw it. You gave off this shy anxiety energy which I mean I understood some because I mean you are talking to your boyfriend's parents so I would be a little nervous too." She said and I was looking at this woman in shock.

Damn am I that transparent?

"I like you Legacy and I feel like you are a good person for my son right now. I want you to know that you don't have to be scared about meeting Lorenzo's family. I know you were probably a nervous wreck when you found out that we were meeting today." She continued as she looked at me. The waiter came with her ice coffee and she smiled thanking him.

"I really was. I know that I met you on the phone but meeting you in person was a whole different level" I said truthfully as I looked down at the table.

"I understand completely. I was nervous meeting Sawyer's family as well." She said agreeing with me.

"I'm a very nice person and I don't easily judge someone...all the time" she said and I chucked when she paused. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Don't be scared okay?" She said and I nodded.

"I'll try not be Mrs.Johnson" I said and she playfully glared at me when I called her Mrs.Johnson.

"Let's go see what the boys are doing" she said standing up. She left a tip for the waiter and I grabbed my purse following her to the exit.
