189: Darkness Surrounds Her.

Proudly, she stood up for herself.
Heart racing, pulse quickly pounding.
As the darkness surrounds her, she comforts herself.
Facing her fears, standing her ground.
Away from the world she turned, for protection.
A growing need to be free, to be her own person.
To protect her mind from being stolen.
Her very soul from being taken away.
She knows what she needs.
She knows what to do.
